국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니 양육스트레스, 유아 내재화 문제행동, 아버지 양육참여와 유아 외현화 문제행동 간의 구조관계를 탐색하였다. 또한, 이러한 관계에 대한 내재화 문제행동과 아버지 양육참여의 매개효과도 분석하였다. 이를 위해 5차년도 한국아동패널의 1,653명 어머니들과 자녀들의 자료를 활용해 구조방정식분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 양육스트레스는 내재화 문제행동과 아버지 양육참여에 직접적으로 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 내재화 문제행동과 아버지 양육참여는 외현화 문제행동에 직접 영향을 주었다. 셋째, 내재화 문제행동과 아버지 양육참여는 어머니 양육스트레스가 외현화 문제행동에 미치는 영향에 대해 부분매개효과를 가졌다. 본 연구 결과는 유아의 올바른 성장을 위해 어머니의 정서적, 심리적 건강과 아버지의 적극적 양육참여가 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study investigated the structural relationships between Korean mothers’ parenting stress, paternal participation, internalizing problem behaviors and externalizing problem behaviors,: It also examined the mediating influence of paternal participation and internalizing problem behaviors on these relationships. A structural equation model analysis was performed on 1,653 mothers’ survey responses from the 2015 Korean Children Panel Study. The results showed that, first, parenting stress directly influenced paternal participation and internalizing problem behaviors. Second, paternal participation and internalizing problem behaviors directly affected externalizing problem behaviors. Third, parenting stress not only directly influenced externalizing problem behaviors, but also indirectly affected it through paternal participation and internalizing problem behaviors The results of this study suggest that the emotional and psychological health of the mother and active paternal participation are necessary for the proper growth of the children.
