어머니의 우울이 유아의 학습준비도에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 어머니의 우울이 유아의 학습준비도에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는지와 부모-자녀 상호작용을 통해 간접적으로 영향을 미치는지를 검증하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 한국아동패널 5차년도(2012년)에서 7차년도(2014년) 조사에 참여한 어머니 1,480명이다. 연구문제를 검증하기 위하여 구조방정식모형을 적용하였으며 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 우울은 다음해의 부모-자녀 상호작용에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 우울은 다다음해의 학습준비도에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부모-자녀 상호작용은 유아의 다음해의 학습준비도에 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 어머니의 우울과 유아의 학습준비도 간의 관계를 부모-자녀 상호작용이 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 유아의 학습준비도에 과거에 경험한 어머니의 우울과 부모-자녀 간의 상호작용이 주요하게 작용함을 밝힘으로써 유아의 학습준비 향상을 위한 부모교육 프로그램 개발에 기초자료를 제공했다는 점에 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to confirm whether mother s depression directly affected children s readiness and indirectly contributed to the learning readiness of infant through parent-child interaction. The subjects were 1,480 mothers who participated in the 5th(2012 year) to 7th(2014 year) year of the Korean Children s Panel. The structural equation model was applied to verify the research problem. The research results are as follows. First, mothers depression negatively affected parent-child interaction after 1 year. Second, mothers depression negatively contributed to the learning readiness after 2 years Third, parent-child interactions negatively affected the learning readiness after 1 year. Fourth, parent-child interaction partially mediated the relationship between mother s depression and infant s readiness. This study showed that mothers experienced with the depression was important for parent-child interaction in the learning readiness of infant. Therefore, the results of this study can be applied as basic data for the development of parent education program to improve the learning readiness of infant.
