학습목표 모호성이 학업성취에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 학습태도와 학업빚어내기의 효과를 탐색하려는 목적을 갖고 목표설정이론을 바탕으로 대학 수업현장에서 학습목표의 모호성으로 인해 형성된 저조한 학습동기가 학업성취 수준에 부(-)의 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상하였다. 그리고 두 변인 간의 관계에서 학습태도가 유의한 매개적 효과를 가지며 학업빚어내기가 유의한 조절적 효과를 가질 것으로 예상하였다. 이와 같은 가설을 검증하기 위해 인천 지역에 위치한 A대학 서비스계열 2학년 학생들을 대상으로 2019년 6월 3일부터 6월 11일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 학생들이 인지한 학습목표의 모호성은 학업성취에 유의한 부(-)의 영향을 미쳤다. 아울러 학습목표의 모호성과 학업성취 간의 관계에서 학습태도가 유의한 부(-)의 부분매개효과를 가진다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 학업빚어내기의 구성요인인 과제빚어내기, 관계빚어내기는 유의한 정(+)의 조절효과를 나타내었으나 인지빚어내기는 유의미한 결과를 나타내지 못했다. 본 연구를 통한 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 명확하게 인지된 학습목표는 학업성취에 유의미한 영향을 미치기 때문에 교수자는 학습목표를 명확하게 제시하고 인지 여부를 확인해야 한다. 둘째, 인지된 학습목표가 다소 모호하더라도 학생들의 학습태도에 따라 학업성취의 결과가 달라질 수 있기 때문에 교수자는 학습태도 지도에 관심을 가져야 한다. 셋째, 자발적 학업수행 능력인 학업빚어내기의 긍정적 효과가 부분적으로 확인되었다. 따라서 교수학습 측면에서 학업빚어내기 능력 함양을 위한 자기주도적 과제수행능력 향상 및 학생 간 건강한 관계 형성 등을 위한 교수자의 배려가 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to explore the effects of learning attitudes and study crafting. And the purpose of this study was to find meaningful implications of teaching & learning activities from the perspective of educational technology. In order to test this research, a survey was conducted from June 3 to June 11, 2019, for the second year students of a college located in Incheon city. As a result, students perceived ambiguity had a significant negative influence on academic achievement. In addition, it was confirmed that the learning attitude has a significant negative mediating effect in the relationship between the learning objective ambiguity and academic achievement. Also, task crafting and relationship crafting of study crafting showed significant positive moderating effects, but cognitive crafting did not show significant results. Based on these results, this study found the following implications from the perspective of educational technology. First, learning objectives have a significant impact on students academic achievement, so the instructor must clearly present the learning objectives and confirm their recognition. Second, even if the perceived learning objectives are somewhat ambiguous, instructors should be interested in guiding learning activities related to learning attitudes. because the results of academic achievement can vary according to students learning attitudes. Third, the positive effects of study crafting, the students ability to voluntarily study, were partially demonstrated. According to these results, it is necessary to consider the instructors to develop study crafting ability in terms of teaching and learning.
