국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 인문학적 상상력과 과학적 창조력을 갖춘 인재를 기르기 위한 융합교육의 중요성이 부각되는 흐름에 비춰 융합교육의 진정한 발판이 인문고전 교육임을 강조하면서, 그러한 맥락에서 되새겨 보는 인문교육의 본원적 의미에 관하여 고찰하고자 하였다. 연구 방법과 방향은 위계적 질서에 기초한 과거의 지식 전달 흐름에서 벗어나 수평적·네트워크적 지식체계의 소통 및 정보 전달로의 전환이라는 패러다임 변화 과정에서 우리 인문교육 현장에 대한 비판적 성찰과 인문적 창의성의 기초로서 인문학적 사유에 대한 중요성을 강조하는데 초점을 두었다. 아울러 인문교육의 본령을 ‘성찰’과 ‘공감’에 두고, 그 의미를 인문고전 텍스트를 중심으로 고찰하였으며, 문화적 이질감이 극도로 심화된 분단 체제하에서의 이러한 문화적 이질감을 극복할 수 있는 매개로서의 개방성과 시민의식을 촉진하는 인문교육의 의미를 분단 당시 동서독 사회를 사례로 살펴보았다.

영문 초록

Integrated and convergence thinking ability means creative thinking ability of essential problems in the society and various issues across the world. Our society today seeks new educational directions in order to foster talented individuals with humanistic thought and imagination, creative power over disciplinary borders. However, our educational world does not yet fully understand humanistic introspection about foundation of integrated thinking. Based on this problem, this paper analyse the significance of humanities and classic education as the foundation of convergence education. For the realization of values of culture convergence, this paper is trying to find interface between humanities and classic Education and convergence education in changing process of the cultural paradigm. The purpose of humanities is not to acquire knowledge contained in the book, but to cultivate moral character through the reflection of oneself and the ability to feel empathy for others and to have a critical understanding for the society and the world in general. Critical and creative thinking in the humanities do not accept values of other people and conventional wisdom. The essence of this ability to thinking is humanities and classic Education. Humanities education accompanied by the serious questions, a lot of controversy and heated debate is the important foundation for integrated and convergence education. Integrated and convergence education is intended to promote education’s purpose stimulating students’ creativity. Creativity is important for the development of the cultural contents and humanistic spirit is good for this creative process.
