국문 초록

이 글은 오늘날 디지털 문화 속에서의 포털 사전의 강세와 그에 따른 종이사전의 한계를 인지하고, 그 둘의 장점들을 보완해서 학술성 ·객관성·신뢰성·시의성를 갖춘 검색 포털 사전으로서의 방향과 역할을 강구하는데 그 목적을 둔다. 특히 국가무형문화재 제97호인 ‘살풀이춤’을 대상으로 검색 포털별 지식제공의 현황을 5단계로 분석하고 진단했으며 그 결과는, 첫째 국가무형문화재 지식의 세계화를 위해서는 영문명의 구체적인 제시가 중요하며, 그 표기는 음역[compass,音域]과 의미역[thematic role,意味役]을 함께 제시해야 할 것이다. 둘째, 2015년도 문화재 보호법의 최신 개정은 무형문화재 제도의 큰 변화를 낳았다. 기존의 ‘중요무형문화재’라는 명칭을 2016년부터는 ‘국가무형문화재’ 로 변경했으며, 등재 기준 또한 ‘원형’ 보존에서 ‘전형’ 보전으로 바꾼 것이다. 이 같은 지식 정보의 시의성을 반영하고, 애매모호한 혼동의 지식들을 효율적으로 제공한 사전은 ‘위키백과’였다. 셋째, 동일한 종이사전을 기반으로 제작되었지만, 포털별 ‘살풀이춤’ 지식 제공의 방식과 구성에는 각각의 차이를 보였고, ‘네이버’(NAVER) 경우 가장 많은 백과사전식의 지식과 콘텐츠를 확보하고 있었다. 끝으로 일련의 분석을 통해서 본 연구자는 포털 사전의 국가무형문화재 지식제공의 메커니즘을 모범적으로 제안했고, 포털사는 분야별 전문학자와의 협력을 통한 내용의 질적 성장과 기하급수적으로 쏟아지는 지식의 양적 축적에 대한 효율적인 지식경영을 고민해야 하며, 이윤보다는 진실·신뢰·상생 ·공정 · 정의 등의 더 높은 가치를 추구해야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this article is to understand the strength of portal dictionaries in today’s digital culture and the limitations of paper dictionaries, and to identify directions and roles of portal dictionaries equwith academic ability, objectivity, reliability and timeliness by combining their strengths. In particular, the current situations of knowledge on ‘Salpurichum’ which is the national intangible cultural property no. 97 are analyzed and diagnosed in five stages. The results are as follows: First, it is important to present specific English names in order to globalize knowledge on national intangible cultural properties. The name should contain both compass and thematic roles. Second, the latest revision of the Cultural Properties Protection Act in 2015 has led to major changes in the intangible cultural property system. The name of “Major intangible cultural property” has been changed to “National intangible cultural property” in 2016. The criteria for registration are changed from “original” conservation into “typical” conservation. ‘Wikipedia’ reflects the timeliness of such knowledge information and efficiently provides more specific meaning of ambiguous and confusing knowledge than other portal dictionaries. Third, although it has been produced based on the same paper dictionary, there are some differences in the way and composition of knowledge on ‘Salpurichum’ in each portal site. ‘NAVER’ shows the most extensive encyclopedia knowledge and contents. Finally, the mechanism of knowledge on national intangible property provided by the portal dictionaries has been proposed through a series of analyses. The portal companies should seek the efficient knowledge management system for the qualitative growth of contents through collaboration with professionals in each field and the quantitative accumulation of exponentially produced knowledge. They should pursue higher values such as truth, trust, coexistence, fairness and justice rather than profit.
