국문 초록

교사교육 프로그램 내에서 예비교사의 마이크로 티칭 (시범수업) 경험은 교사의 교수방법 발전에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 이러한 이유로, 본 연구에서는 마이크로 티칭 경험이 예비교사의 자기효능감에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 선행연구를 정리하였다. 특히 미국 초등학교 예비선생들의 영어학습자, 이민자 학생을 포함한 자기효능감에 대하여 집중적으로 선행연구를 살펴보았다. 많은 선행연구들이 마이크로 티칭 경험이 예비교사 교수법에 긍정적인 효과가 있다고 보고하였다. 하지만 영어교육 분야에서, 특히 영어 학습자 (이민자 학생)들을 위한 예비교사의 자기효능감에 관한 연구는 부족한 실정이었다. 이러한 선행연구 조사 결과로 바탕으로 앞으로 더 많은 연구가 예비 초등학교 선생님의 이민자 학생을 위한 마이크로 티칭 경험을 중심으로 진행되어야 할 것으로 보인다.

영문 초록

Microteaching is a professional development method for pre-service teachers in teacher education programs. This review investigates the self-efficacy beliefs of pre-service teachers, and the implications self- efficacy has on English Language Teaching (ELT). The results of this review suggest that microteaching activities increase teaching competencies and self-efficacy beliefs. However, this review did find that ELT is underrepresented in the literature. More research is required to assist pre-service teachers with strategies and techniques to accommodate the needs English Language Learners (ELLs) in the ELT context.
