아토그래피(A/r/tography)를 통한 교사교육에의 접근

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 미술 교사교육에 있어서 예술 교육의 창의성, 정체성에 기초한 아토그래피 연구방법에 기반을 두어 예술가로서의 창조성과 연구자, 교사의 통합된 정체성을 반영한 연구의 과정들을 소개하고, 개인 포트폴리오를 통해 학습하고 연구를 진행할 수 있는 방법적 가능성을 제시하고자 한다. 한 학기 동안의 수업 과정과 교사들의 연구 사례를 통해 아토그래피의 교육 연구와 미술 교사교육에 있어 의미를 다음 네 가지 측면에서 정리하고자 한다. 첫째, 아토그래피적 접근은 다중화된 사회･문화적 정체성의 경험을 이끌어 내고 개인만의 독특하고 개별적인 이야기들을 들려준다. 이러한 개별적 경험들은 사회적, 문화적, 경제적, 정치적 맥락에서 해석되며, 이것은 공적인 ʻ연구ʼ가 되기 위한 방법론적 정당성을 부여한다. 둘째, 아토그래피 연구방법은 연구에 있어서 표현과 창작을 통한 미술의 고유한 특질인 정서와 감정의 표출을 허용하며, 정서적 앎의 세계로 이끈다. 지적 경험과 미적 경험을 통합하고, 감각의 층위에서 사유를 촉발 하게 한다. 그리고 아토그래피는 관계적 장치를 마련해주는 예술적 실천의 방법론으로서의 가능성을 보여준다. 셋째, 아토그래피는 삶과 긴밀한 관계를 맺는 과정 속 에서 교육적 실천, 예술 실행의 연결을 통해 일상의 경험과 미적 경험을 통합시킨다. 넷째, 아토그래피는 능동적 반성의 행위와 교육적 실제의 개선을 위한 연구와 실천, 예술 실행의 결합으로 테오리아, 프락시스, 포에시스를 통합시킨다. 교육적 실천과 예술실행은 이러한 미술교육의 실천 담론 생산에 있어 중요한 과정이며, 아토그래피는 예술에 대한 이해뿐만 아니라 교육과 학습을 전제로 하는 교육적 잠재력을 지닌다.

영문 초록

In this study, I would like to introduce the process of research that reflects the creativity as an artist and the integrated identity of researchers and teachers, based on research methodology called A/r/tography based on the creativity and identity of art education and suggest a methodological possibility to study and research through personal portfolio in art teacher education I would like to summarize the meaning of artography on art education and art teacher education in four aspects through one class semester course and the case study of teachers. First, the leads to the experience of multiplexed social and cultural identities and tells individual unique and individual stories. These individual experiences are interpreted in a social, cultural, economic, and political context, which gives methodological justification for public research. Second, the atography research permits the expression of emotion and affect, which is the inherent trait of art, and leads to a world of emotional knowing. It integrates intellectual and aesthetic experiences, and triggers thoughts on the layer of sensations. And it shows the possibility as a method of artistic practices that provides a relational device. Third, A/r/tography integrates daily experience and aesthetic experience tthrough the link between artistic practice and daily experience in a close relationship with life. Fourth, A/r/tography incorporates theoria, praxis, poiesis in a combination of ʻʻthinkingʼʼ, ʻʻdoingʼʼ and ʻʻcreatingʼʼ actions for the improvement of educational realities. Educational practice and art practice are important processes in the production of the practical discourese of art education, and A/r/tography have educational potential on the premise of education and learning as well as understanding of art.
