국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 놀이신념 놀이참여 역할수행과 유아의 놀이성 사회성 간의 구조적 관계를 분석하는 데 있다 이를 위해 서울 및 경기도에 위치한 어린이집과 유치원에 재원 중인 유아와 어머니 쌍을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다 어머니의 놀이신념 놀이참여 역할수행에 대한 설문은 어머니가 응답하였으며 유아의 놀이성 사회성에 대한 설문은 유아가 재원 중인 기관의 담임교사가 설문에 응답하였다 연구결과 첫째 어머니의 발달적 놀이신념은 유아의 놀이성과 사회성에 직접적인 영향을 미치며 어머니의 놀이참여 역할수행을 매개로 유아의 놀이성과 사회성에 간접적인 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다 둘째 어머니의 참여적 놀이신념은 유아의 놀이성과 사회성에 직접적인 영향을 미치며 어머니의 역할수행을 매개로 유아의 놀이성과 사회성에 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다 셋째 어머니의 제한적 놀이신념은 유아의 놀이성과 사회성에 직접적인 영향을 주기보다는 놀이참여 역할수행을 매개로 유아의 놀이성과 사회성에 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the structural relationships among the variables on mothers’ play beliefs, play participation, child-rearing role practice, and children’s playfulness and sociality. A total of 474 mothers with children aged three to five, attending kindergartens and nursery schools located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-Do, participated in this study. Mothers responded to the questionnaires about the mother’s play beliefs, play participation, and child-rearing role practice. The questionnaires about the child’s playfulness and sociality were responded by the child’s teacher. The results of the study are the following. First, it was found that the mother’s developmental play belief directly affected the child’s playfulness and sociality, and indirectly influenced the child’s playfulness and sociality through play participation and child-rearing role practice. Second, the mother’s participative play beliefs directly affected the child’s playfulness and sociality, and indirectly influenced the child’s playfulness and sociality through child-rearing role practice. Third, the mother’s limited play beliefs indirectly influenced the child’s playfulness and sociality through play participation and child-rearing role practice.
