Development of all in one self-heating wax container design for hair removal

영문 초록

The market for hair removal products is rapidly increasing worldwide, and a variety of products are on the market. As methods of epilation, the dermatology procedures are laser hair removal, a cream-form hair removal product that swells and removes keratin protein and a hair removal wax that physically removes body hair using the melting point and hardness of the wax is representative. Among them, hair removal using laser and cream depilator are highly likely to cause skin burns and skin diseases respectively. On the other hand, hair removal wax has the advantage of minimizing skin side effects by physically removing body hair. However, it is inconvenient to dissolve the hair removal wax separately from the heater and apply it to the skin, so use a professional waxing shop and hygienic problems that consumers feel are becoming more important. To alleviate this inconvenience, the one-piece container was designed to allow self-heating of the wax for hair removal without heater. As a result, when the self heating body is applied to the epilating container with iron powder, activated charcoal, salt, diatomaceous, it is maintained at a temperature for application to the skin, also it was not hardened during application and showed high satisfaction in feeling. And we designed a one-piece container in which the wax could self-heat without a heater and hair removal tools. As a result, it was confirmed that the product can be easily contacted by consumers by improving convenience through self-heating of hair removal wax for handy container with low side effect on skin. In addition, if we divide the capacity by epilating unit, we expect this to be an attractive product that attracts attention in the expanding hair removal market.
