일반교육 교육과정의 장애학생 접근 지원을 위한 간학문적 주제단원 개발전략

국문 초록

본 연구는 문헌연구를 통하여 장애학생이 일반교육 교육과정에 접근을 요구하는 배경과 일반교육 교육과정이 장애학생의 접근을 위하여 도입하여야 하는 전략을 탐색한 다음, 통합 교육과정의 한 형태인 간학문적 주제단원을 개발하는 절차와 내용을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통하여 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 간학문적 주제단원은 장애학생의 특별한 욕구를 일반교육 교육과정에 통합하는 교육과정의 한 접근법으로 일반교육 교육과정이 장애학생의 접근을 지원하는 전략으로 도입될 수 있다. 둘째, 일반교육 교육과정이 장애학생의 접근을 지원하기 위해서는 주제 개발단계, 통합활동의 균형 조정단계, 단원의 활동과 과제의 조정 및 지원계획의 수립단계로 간학문적 주제단원을 개발하여야 한다. 셋째, 일반교육 교육과정이 장애학생의 접근을 지원하기 위해서는 일반교육 교육과정의 전형적인 내용 외에 장애학생의 특별한 욕구를 지원하는 내용을 포함하여 간학문적 주제단원을 개발하여야 한다. 따라서 일반교육 교육과정이 장애학생의 접근을 지원하는 전략으로 통합 교육과정을 도입하는 경우 장애학생의 특별한 욕구를 반영하는 개발 절차와 내용에 따라 간학문적 주제단원을 개발하여야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to inquire for the background that is required to access to the general education curriculum of students with disabilities, and the strategies that is required to employ for students with disabilities, and then is to analysis procedures and contents of development of interdisciplinary theme-based unit as one model of integrated curriculum through literatures. The results from this study appeared as follows; First, interdisciplinary theme-based unit is one approach that is integrating needs of students with disabilities to general education curriculum. That will be employed as one strategy for access to the general education curriculum of students with disabilities. Second, to support access to the general education curriculum of students with disabilities, interdisciplinary theme-based unit must be developed through three stages; Stage of theme development, stage of adjusting and balancing of integrated activities, and stage of planning for accommodation and support of activities and tasks of unit. Third, to support access to the general education curriculum of students with disabilities, interdisciplinary theme-based unit must be developed to include needs of students with disabilities in addition to typical contents of general education curriculum. Therefore, in case of employing the integrated curriculum as supportive strategies for the access to the general education curriculum of students with disabilities, the general education curriculum have to develop the interdisciplinary theme-based unit according to the procedures and contents of development which reflect the needs of students with disabilities.
