초등수학과 학습에서 문제공간 분석활동이 아동의 문제구조이해 및 문제해결력에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 수학과 학습에서의 문제공간 분석활동이 문제구조이해 및 문제해결력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 탐색하는 데 목적을 두었다. 연구대상은 K시의 S 및 G초등학교 6학년 학생들을 합하여 42명, G초등학교 6학년 학생들 35명, 총 77명을 연구대상으로 선정하여 각각 실험반과 통제반으로 배정하였다. 실험 전에 문제구조이해력과 문제해결력 검사를 두 집단에게 모두 실시하였으며 동질성을 확보하였다. 문제 공간 분석활동 학습지와 문제 공간 분석활동 프로그램을 구안하여 타당화 한 후에 정규 수학시간을 이용하여 주당 3시간씩 총 6주간 18차시에 실험 처치를 했으며 사후 검사를 실시하였다. 이 연구를 통해서 나온 결과는 다음과 같다. 문제공간 분석활동 프로그램은 문제구조의 이해력과 문제해결력을 향상시키는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 따라서 문제공간 분석활동 프로그램을 체계적으로 개발하여 적용함으로써 초등학교 수학과 수업현장에서 문제를 구조적으로 이해하고 문제해결력을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study investigated the effects of analyzing activity of problem space on students\ problem structure understanding and problem solving ability. Seventy-seven children in the sixth grade from K city were sampled for the performance of this study. They were split into two groups, experimental and control groups. Before performing the program, children were given pre-test about problem structure understanding and problem solving ability and verified both groups were not different. Problem space analysis program was constructed and validated. The problem space analysis program was exercised on the experimental group 3 times a week, 40 minutes each, a total of 18 times. After fulfilling the problem space analysis program children had an examination about problem structure understanding and problem solving ability. The data were analyzed through MANOVA, and MANCOVA techniques. The results are as followed. The experimental group\ s test score of problem structure understanding and problem solving ability were significantly higher than that of control group. Accordingly, the problem space analysis program was proved useful in elevating children\ s problem structure understanding and problem solving ability. This program could be efficient in promoting children\ s problem structure understanding and problem solving ability of mathematics subject in primary schools.
