국문 초록

작문을 보는 관점은 크게 형식적 관점, 인지적 관점, 사회적 관점으로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 각 관점마다 특성이 있는데 이 관점들은 작문의 기반이 되는 요소들에 대해서는 잘 설명해 주고 있지만 작문의 결과인 텍스트에 대해서는 충분한 설명을 해주지 못하고 있다. 이런 문제 인식에서 텍스트와 필자의 의도를 함께 설명해 줄 수 있는 방법으로 ‘문장의 의미 구조 분석’을 통한 쓰기 평가를 한 예로 제안하였다. 이것은 학습자가 산출한 텍스트가 필자의 의도를 잘 반영하고 있는지를 살피는 것으로서 Halliday의 세 가지 언어 기능 즉, 관념적 기능, 대인관계적 기능, 텍스트적 기능을 기준으로 하여 학생 작문을 분석해 보았다. 이 방법은 명확한 작문 평가 기준을 제시하지 못하고 있는 현재의 작문 평가를 보완하는 한 방법으로서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

There are three different viewpoint of writing that is divided by focus of component of writing: text, writer, context. There are characteristics of each viewpoint of writing. Each viewpoints of writing explains property of the component that based on each viewpoints of writing. But it doesn\ t explains in full text . So I propose \ A method of writing evaluation through analysis of semantic structure of sentence\ that explains fully about text as well as writer\ s intentions. This method explains relations between writer\ s intentions and text. Namely, it search that how text reflex the writer\ s intention. I named this method \ function based\ . Halliday divided function into three; ideational function, interpersonal function, texual function. Ideational function means \ language as expressing the speaker\ s experience of the external world, and of his own internal world, that of his own consciousness\ . Interpersonal function means \ language as expressing relations among participants in the situation, and speaker\ s own intrusion into it\ . Textual function means \ as a message in relation to the total communication process\ This method will contribute to writing evaluation.
