고등학생들의 학업성취도 관련 변인 간 구조적 관계 연구

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 고등학생들의 학업성취도 관련 변인간의 관계를 구조모형으로 나타내고 구조모형에 대한 적합도와 경로계수의 통계적 유의성을 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 학업성취도에 영향을 주는 잠재변인으로 학업스트레스, 자아효능감, 메 타인지, 학습동기를 선정하고 변인들 간의 직접효과와 간접효과를 검증하였다. 연구 결과 학업스트레스는 자아효능감, 자아효능감은 학습동기, 메타인지와 학업성취도, 메 타인지는 학업성취도에 직접효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 학업스트레스가 학업성취 도에 미치는 영향에서는 자아효능감, 학습동기, 메타인지의 매개효과가 나타났다. 자 아효능감이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향에서는 학습동기와 메타인지의 매개효과가 나 타났다. 마지막으로 학습동기가 학업성취도에 미치는 영향에서는 메타인지의 매개효 과가 나타났다. 이 연구는 학업성취도 관련 여러 변인들 간의 종합적인 관계를 도출 하였다는 점과 학업스트레스, 학습동기, 자아효능감이 학업성취도에 미치는 영향에서 다른 변인들의 매개효과를 검증함으로써 영향관계의 경로를 구체화하였다는 데 그 의의가 있다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 교육적 시사점과 한계를 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to represent variables related to academic achievement as structural equation model, and identify the significance of path coefficient and goodness of fit index by using structural equation model. Academic stress, self efficacy, meta-cognition, learning motivation were chosen as latent variables affecting academic achievement and direct and indirect effect among variables were tested. The results are as follows: Academic stress has a direct effect on self-efficacy. Self-efficacy has direct effects on learning motivation, meta-cognition and academic achievement. Meta-cognition has a direct effect on academic achievement. The mediation effects of the self-efficacy, learning motivation, meta-cognition were shown in the relationship between academic stress and achievement. Learning motivation affects academic achievement through meta-cognition. Finally, the mediation effects of the learning motivation and meta-cognition were shown in the relationship between self-efficacy and academic achievement. This research has a significance in the aspect that overall relations among variables related to academic achievement were derived. The path of influencing relationship was also identified by finding out the mediation effects in the relationships among academic stress, learning motivation, self-efficacy and academic achievement. Educational implications were discussed based on the results.
