국문 초록

이 연구는 인터넷을 활용한 조사 활동은 목적이 뚜렷한 독해 활동으로 보고, 인터넷 활용 조사 활동 과정에서 나타나는 학생들의 독해 특성을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여, 선행 연구를 검토하고 인터넷을 활용한 조사 활동에 필요한 독해 전략을 텍스트의 탐색 및 선정, 텍스트 및 텍스트의 제공처에 대한 평가, 텍스트의 종합과 정리, 초인지적 점검으로 제시하였다. 관찰 조사와 사고구술의 방법을 활용한 조사의 결과, 분석한 독해의 특성은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 텍스트의 탐색 및 선정 단계에서 검색어를 선정할 때에 대부분 배경지식을 활용하였다. 그러나 독해 수준이 보통 이하인 학생은 배경지식의 정확성을 확인하지 않았다. 둘째, 텍스트 및 텍스트 제공처에 대한 평가 단계에서 독해 수준이 높은 학생은 신뢰성과 정확성을 고려하여 텍스트 제공처를 선택하였다. 그러나 독해 수준이 보통 이하인 학생은 신뢰성과 정확성보다 활용의 용이성을 중요하게 생각하였다. 셋째, 텍스트의 종합과 정리 단계에서는 독해 수준과 관계없이 내용을 정확하게 이해하지 못하였다. 또 독해 수준이 보통 이하인 학생은 텍스트 이해와 종합의 과정을 피하려고 하였다. 넷째, 초인지적 점검 과정에서 조사 목표의 달성 정 도를 점검하는 초인지 작용은 적게 나타났다. 또한 학생들은 과제를 쉽게 해결할 수있는 검색 엔진의 구조를 잘 알고 있는 데에 비하여 정확한 조사 활동에 도움이 될수 있는 인터넷의 구조를 활용하지는 않았다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study to analyze the reading traits that appear in the course of the research activities using the Internet of the students. Students are proficient in the use of the Internet. so they use the Internet to do research activities. However, teachers are not satisfied with the investigation. So, this study analyzed the reading traits, was used to observing and think aloud method. First, when the students navigate and choose to the text, they were chosen by utilizing the background knowledge to keywords. But students who is less than the average comprehension ability did not check the accuracy of the background knowledge. Second, high level students select the source considering reliability and accuracy upon evaluation of the text. The student who is reading levels typically less chose to utilize the appropriate text. Third, we did not, regardless of the student s reading level, they didn t understand exactly what the content of the text. Less than the average comprehension ability students did not make an effort to understanding and synthesizing the text. Fourth, students were less aware of the meta cognition to check the achievement of objective. Also realized well the structure of the search engine for solving the problem as soon as students. But did not utilize the structure of the Internet, that may be helpful to the precise research activities.
