현대시 교육에서 미적 경험의 형성 방안 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 학습자들에게 의미 있는 경험을 제공하는 현대시 교육 방안을 마련하는데 초점을 두었다. 그동안 문학 교육의 현장에서 큰 비중을 차지한 신비평주의적접근을 탈피하고, 시 작품을 통해서 학습자들이 감동을 얻을 수 있는 방안을 도출하 려는 것이었다. 이를 위해 시 작품이 예술 작품이라는 데 착안하여 현대시 교육을 통해 미적 경험을 형성할 수 있는 교수 학습의 틀을 새롭게 만들어보고자 시도하였다. 따라서 미학에서 논의되고 있는 미적 경험에 대한 광범위한 논의들을 정리하고 이를 현대시 교육과 접목시켜 보았다. 특히 미적 경험의 내용적 요소와 형식적 요소를 각기 일반화하였다. 아울러 시 작품이 그 자체로 아름다울 수도 있지만 학습자의 미적 태도에 의해서도 미적 경험이 창출된다는 것에 주목하여 대상과 주체의 상호교섭을 중시하는 현상학적 접근을 시도하였다. 이 같은 논의를 바탕으로 현대시 교육을 통해 미적 경험을 창출하기 위해서는 ‘신체적 지각’에서 출발하여 ‘상상력’활동, ‘비평’ 활동, ‘내면화’ 활동으로 이어지는 일종의 현대시 교육의 주기를 도출하였다. 이를 통해 현대시 교육 현장에서 교사들이 보다 생동감 있는 문학 수업을 전개할 수 있는 아이디어를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

This research suggests a method of building meaningful experience at modern poetry education. It is to escape from the point of criticism activity at literature education and to draw a teaching method that students earn impression. This research focuses that a poetry is an art. Therefore, it quotes a theory of aesthetics. Which means trying to make a teaching frame in order to build an aesthetic experience through modern poetry education. First, this research generalize research results of an aesthetic experience at aesthetics. Especially, it classifies contents of an aesthetic experience and a form of an aesthetic experience respectively. There are three components in the contents of an aesthetic experience. For example, a pleasant feeling of sense, a pleasant feeling of emotion, a pleasant feeling of cognition. And there are three components in the form of an aesthetic experience. For example, a completed form, a cross of tension and relax, communication and spread. Second, this research reorganizes a teaching method of modern poetry education. It is composed with four steps. First step is physical perception activities. Second step is imagination activities. Third step is criticism activities. Fourth step is sympathizing activities. These activities focus that an aesthetic experience starts from an aesthetic nature of poetry and an aesthetic attitude of a learner. For these reasons, this research quotes a theory of phenomenology that takes a serious view of communication between an object and a subject. This research suggests some ideas that teachers progress a modern poetry class actively.
