신자유주의 시대, ‘치유(治癒)’ 혹은 ‘기망(欺罔)’의 텔레비전드라마

국문 초록

텔레비전드라마는현실세계에서 충족되기 어려운 욕망의대체제 기능을 한다. 정치적이거나 경제적인 폐해를 폭로하는 텔레비전드라마들이 사회적으로 화제가 되었던 것도 실제 현실 세계에서는 좀처럼 보기 어려운 권선징악의 정의 구현을 텔레비전드라마를 통해서라도보고싶은 시청자의갈망 때문이었다. 하지만정치적이나 경제적으로민감한문제를 다룬 일련의 텔레비전드라마들이 실제 현실 세계의 울분을 해소하거나 정신적 외상을 치유했는지 여부는 분명하지 않다. 2010년을 전후한 시기에 사회 변화를 즉자적으로 반영하는 경향이 강한 텔레비전드라마에서 정치적이나 경제적으로 민감한 현안을 다루는 경우가 많아졌다. 좌절의 내면화로 실제 현실 세계와 극적인 허구 세계를 구분하는 것이 무의미한 상황에서 문제적 현실을 다룬 일련의 텔레비전드라마들은 시청자의 이목을 집중시켰다. 본 연구에서 법조계와 언론계에 대한 국민의 불신이 거세진 것과 비례하여, 검찰과 언론의 문제적 현실을 다룬 텔레비전드라마들이 비슷한 시기에 동시다발적으로 방영된 것을 주목한 이유이다. 본 연구 에서는법조계를 배경으로 한 <오만과 편견>과 <펀치>, 언론계를 배경으로한 <피노키오>와<힐러>의 극적상황과등장인물을분석하였다. 그리고이를토대로권선징악의 해피엔딩으로 구현되는 시적 정의가 실제 현실 세계와 다를 수 있음을 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 통해 국민의 기본권을 보장해야 할 ‘법조’와 진실 보도를 생명으로 하는 ‘언론’의 문제적 현실을 비판적으로 다룬 일련의 텔레비전드라마들에서 구현된 시적 정의가 아이러니하게도 문제적 현실을 은폐시킬 가능성을 확인하였다. 이를 통해 문제적 현실을 다루면서 주목받은 일련의 텔레비전드라마들이신자유주의경제 체제의 고착에서 비롯된 상처를치유하는것 같지만, 사실은문제적현실이해소되었다는착시를일으키면서시청자를 기망한 것은 아닌지 성찰할 필요가 있다는 결론에 도달하였다.

영문 초록

Television dramas function as substitutes for insatiable desire to be met in the real world. Television dramas exposing political or economic ills have become socially issue. It was because of the desire to see television dramas that were difficult to see in real life, which is difficult to see in real life. But it is unclear whether television dramas dealing with political or economic sensitivities have dealt with real world anger or have dealt with trauma. In a television dramas that tend to reflect societal changes, they tend to deal with political or economic sensitivities. Television dramas dealing with real-life reality have focused on the viewer’s attention amid a meaningless reality separating real-life reality and dramatic fictional worlds. The study noted that television dramas dealing with the problems of the prosecution and the media were aired at a similar time. The study analyzed the dramatic situations and characters in the legal and journalistic backgrounds, ··· . Based on this, the poetic definition of a poetic definition of a happy ending may be different from the actual reality of the real world. Through this study, the Poetic Justice of a television dramas that deals with the realities of legal and journalism has ironically demonstrated the possibility of covering up the problem of questionable reality. Through this study, television dramas dealing with the problem of questionable reality did not realize that they did not healing trauma caused by the neoliberal economic system. Rather, it came to the conclusion that it is necessary to reflect on the fact that the reality of the problem is that the problem was resolved.
