영문 초록

Economic development, rise in income and change in life in Korea have led Koreans to desire to enjoy cultural capital, which has brought to differentiated cultural space in recent years. In addition, an increase of people s interest in making good use of real property and in market which enables owners of real property to earn income while owing it have led people to have a new understanding of space. As the importance of tradition and Hanok (traditional Korean style houses) in Samcheong-dong was emphasized, Bukchon village which has lots of traditional Korean style houses has experienced drastic change. This study made empirical analysis of factors that form placeness of cultural space in Samcheong-dong by conducting pilot survey and exploratory survey for people who visit Samcheong-dong and investigated factors that attract visitors by comparing recognition of those survey before they became aware of placeness of cultural space in Samcheong-dong and after they did. Further study of citizen s intention of revisit to Samcheong-dong after they become aware of placeness of cultural space in Samcheong-dong or behavior of visitors is needed.
