2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 실과 교육과정의 개발 방향

국문 초록

이 연구는 2009 개정 교육과정에 따라 실과 교육과정의 개발에 필요한 구체적인 방향을 제시하여 실과 교육과정 입안의 기초자료를 제공하는 데 그 목적이 있으며, 구체적인 연구 질문을 설정하였다. 첫째, 실과 교육과정의 개발 방식은 어떠해야 하는가? 둘째, 미래 핵심역량을 어떻게 반영할 것인가? 셋째, 교과 간의 교육내용 중복을 어떻게 처리할 것인가? 넷째, 실과 교육내용의 적정성을 어떻게 가질것인가? 다섯째, 실과와 기술·가정 교과 간의 연계방법은 무엇인가? 연구문제에 대한 구체적인 방향을 제시하기 위하여 숙고적인 방법도 병행한 결과, 다음과 같은 결론에 도달하였다. 첫째, 실과 교육과정의 개발 시, 개정된 교육과정의 의도를 살리기 위해서는 내용중심의 실과 교육과정 개발보다는 과정중심의 교육과정 개발을 도입해야 한다. 둘째, 실과 교육과정에 미래 핵심 역량을 모두 반영할 수는 없지만 실과의 특성을 고려하여 창의력, 문제해결능력, 정보처리능력, 진로개발능력 등은 교육과정 개발 시에 강조하여 특화해야 한다. 셋째, 교과간의 교육내용 중복 측면에서, 실과의 목표와 특성에 맞는 것이면 크게 문제될 것은 없다. 그러나 유사하게 중복되는 것이라면 분명하게 타 교과와 연계하여 지도할 수 있는 방안을 제시해 주어야 한다. 넷째, 실과 교육내용의 적정성에서는 내용의 타당성, 내용의 양, 내용의 수준, 내용의 연계․계열, 적정성의 환경요인에서 적정화를 이루어야 한다. 이와 더불어 초등 수준에서 실과 교육내용, 중등에서의 기술 교육내용, 가정 교육내용을 영역별로 교육과정을 개발하되, 필수 이수 교육내용과 선택 교육내용을 동시에 제시해 주어야 한다. 마지막으로, 실과와 기술·가정 교과 간의 연계 측면에서, 실과 교육내용의 계열성, 초등과 중등에서 교과 명칭의 연계를 가져야 한다. 실과의 기술, 가정, 농업 영역의 내용과의 괴리를 해결하기 위하여 과정중심의 교육과정을 개발하여 주제나 활동중심으로 구안해야 한다.

영문 초록

According to the notification of revised national curriculum 2009, each subject is starting to develop the new curriculum. The purpose of this study is to detail direction of developing Practical Arts (here after PA) education in order to 2009 revised national curriculum s viewpoint. For the purpose of the study, research questions were set up as follows; 1) how should we select the curriculum developing method of PA subject? 2) How should we reflect the core competencies of students future? 3) How should we arrange the contents overlap of each subjects? 4) How should we keep the relevance of contents? 5) How should we connect the sequence between PA subject and Technology & Home economics subject? Accomplishing the purpose, the research methods were adopted review of literatures and deliberation thinking. The results of the study are as follows; first, for the revised national curriculum s aim, PA s curriculum developing method should be adopted process-oriented curriculum rather than content-oriented curriculum. Second, it is difficult to reflect whole core competencies in PA curriculum, but PA s curriculum development should be specialized creativity, problem solving ability, information processing capability, and career developing power. Third, content duplication of each subject should be suggested a solution to teach connection PA with other subjects. Fourth, PA s content relevance should be optimized content validity, content volume, content level, content scope, and content environmental component. Finally, in the aspects of sequence, the subject should be connected between PA subject and Technology & Home economics subject in the level of contents and subject name. In order to unify the subject name, specially, PA s related person should be attended communication channel, and considered teacher training system.
