국문 초록

이 연구는 2009개정 교육과정의 고시에 따라 각론 교육과정의 개발을 앞두고 있는 시점에서 총론과 각론 실과 교과와의 유기적 관련을 검토하고 야기되는 문제를 실과 교과의 입장에서 비판적으로 고찰하고자 한 연구이다. 2009개정 교육과정에서는 [과학/실과] 교과군이 도입되었고 이에 따라 실과 교육과정도 그 구성과 운영에 영향을 받게 되었다. 따라서 이 연구는 2009개정 교육과정의 개발과정에서 나타난 논쟁점을 중심으로 구체적으로 [과학/실과] 교과군 도입에 대한 타당성, [과학/실과] 교과군을 과학, 실과의 통합으로 보려는 부당함과 부적절함, 학년군이 실과 교육과정 개발에 미치는 영향, 이수시간의 자율적 증감운영이 주는 의미, 집중이수제의 면모 등을 문제로 다루었다. 한편, 제기된 쟁점에 따라 총론과 실과가 담당해야 할 과제는 무엇이며, 앞으로 이를 어떻게 해결해나갈 것인가에 대해서도 고찰하였다. 특히 총론은 2009개정 교육과정이 갖고 있는 여러 모순점과 문제점을 어떻게 해결해 나갈 것인가를 고민해야 할 것을 요구하였으며, 실과는 각론 교육과정 개정을 앞두고 교과의 본질을 충실히 하면서 과학과와 함께 논의할 부분에 대해서도 지적하고 이를 함께 해결해나갈 것을 주장하였다.

영문 초록

This study considers the matters caused by the educational curriculum development plan with a perspective of Practical Arts Education, examining close relationship between the general and the particular of Practical Arts subject. This study is significant to be noted especially prior to the curriculum development which is accompanied by notification of the Educational Curriculum Revision 2009. Since the Educational Curriculum Revision 2009 was validated, [Science/Practical Arts] was adopted and was operated under the organization and application of the Curriculum Revision. Therefore, this study mainly addresses validity of adoption of [Science/Practical], unsuitability of incorporating [Science/Practical Arts] subjects into the joint subject, impact of grade groups on development of Practical Arts Education, meaning of self-regulating management in increasing class hours, and aspects of the accelerated system of completion. Meanwhile, this paper also concerns of what are mains subject for the general and Practical Arts in response to the proposed issue, and a better alternative for solving the problems left. In particular, the study requires the general to think about solutions for the contrarieties and problems of the Curriculum Revision 2009, while it addresses Practical Arts assignment to be faithful in the essentials of the subject as well as to discuss the tasks in cooperation with department of Science.
