스트레스, 고독이 탈북민 노인의 정신건강에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 탈북민 노인의 정신건강에 미치는 요인과 사회적지지의 매개효과에 대하여 알아보았다. 이를 위해 현재 서울에 거주하는 탈북민 노인들을 대상으로 임의로 표본을 수집하였고, 2015년 05월 26일부터 06월 25일까지 100편을 배포하였으나, 불성실한 답변 3부를 제외한 97부만 분석에 사용하였다. 본 연구에서는 첫째, 탈북민 노인의 정신건강에 영향을 주는 요인을 알아보기 위하여 투입한 변수는 모두 탈북민 노인의 정신건강에 영향을 미치는 요인인 것으로 밝혀졌다. 하지만 그중에서 가장 눈에 띄게 나타나는 요인은 통제변수로 설정한 주관적 경제상태가 모든 회귀식에서 유의미하게 나타났으며, 독립변수인 사회적 지지는 방향성이 모든 회귀식에서 일관되게 음(-)의 방향을 나타낸 것을 알 수 있다. 둘째, 집단에 따른 정신건강의 차이를 알아본 결과 연령(t=4.326, p<.01), 학력(t=3.749, p<.01), 주관적 경제상태(t=4.946, p<.01), 월 생활비(t=2.861, p<.05)에서 유의하게 나타났다. 사회적 지지를 매개로 스트레스와 고독이 정신건강에 미치는 요인을 다중회귀분석을 통해 알아본 결과 사회적 지지가 개입함으로써, 탈북민 노인의 스트레스와 고독을 감소할 수 있으며, 정신건강을 높이는 매개효과를 나타내고 있음을 알 수 있다. 이어 Sobel-Test를 통해 효과분석을 검정한 결과에서는 고독과 정신건강에 대한 사회적지지의 매개효과(Sobel 통계치 = -2.510, p<.01)는 유의한 것으로 나타났으며, 스트레스와 정신건강에 대한 사회적지지의 매개효과(Sobel 통계치 = -1.103, p>.05)는 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 탈북민 노인의 고독을 해소하고, 경제상태의 안정과 정신건강 증진을 위한 사회적 지지체계와 지역사회 실천의 새로운 방향을 모색할 수 있는 계기가 될 것으로 보인다.

영문 초록

This study examined against the mediating effect of social support on the mental health of factors and North Korean defectors Senior.
