노인 이미지와 친밀감이 부양의식에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 베이비붐세대와 에코붐세대를 대상으로 부양의식을 비교해 보고, 노인 이미지와 친밀감의 직·간접 효과와 친밀감의 매개효과를 검증하여, 베이비붐세대와 에코붐세대의 부양의식에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기, 충남지역에서 베이비붐세대 200명, 에코붐세대 265명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 자료분석에는 SPSS v.22와 AMOS v.21을 사용하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 인구학적 특성에 따른 부양의식 차이를 보면 베이비붐세대 경우 경제적 부양의식은 학력과 월평균 소득에서, 신체적 부양의식은 성장지역에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 에코붐세대 경우 경제적 부양의식은 혼인상태와 월평균 소득에서, 정서적 부양의식과 신체적 부양의식은 성장지역에서 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 구조방정식 모형을 이용하여 노인이미지와 친밀감이 부양의식에 영향을 미치는지 알아본 결과, 베이비붐세대의 경우 친밀감은 노인 이미지와 부양의식의 관계를 완전매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 에코붐세대는 친밀감이 노인이미지와 부양의식 간에 부분매개 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 세대 간의 부양의식 차이는 향후 에코붐세대의 부양의식 수준을 파악할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하고 부양의식에 영향을 미치는 요인들에 대한 분석은 노인부양 지원정책을 마련하는 근거자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to compare the caregiving consciousness in baby-boom and echo-boom generation, and to examine the effects of the image of the elderly and intimacy on their caregiving consciousness. In order to do this, a survey was conducted for 200 baby-boom generation(aged 52-60), 265 eco-boom generation(aged 23-36) living in Seoul, Gygong-gi, and Chung-nam, and the data were analyzed with SPSS V.22 and AMOS v.21. The results of this study are as follows; First, economic caregiving consciousness is significantly different by educational level and average monthly income and physical caregiving consciousness is significantly different by grown-up area among baby-boom generation. Among echo-boom generation, the economic caregiving consciousness is significantly different by a marital status and average monthly income and psychological and physical caregiving consciousness are significantly different by grown-up area. Second, the effects of the image of elderly and intimacy on the caregiving consciousness are examined by using the structure equation modeling analysis. It is showed that the intimacy entirely mediates between the image of the elderly and caregiving consciousness for baby-boom generation. While the intimacy partially mediates between the image of the elderly and caregiving consciousness for echo-boom generation. The differences in caregiving consciousness between the two generations provide us basic data to understand the level of future caregiver’s caregiving consciousness, and the analysis of the factors affecting the caregiving consciousness can be based on establishing the caregiving support policy.
