노인의 자아통합감에 미치는 영향 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 노인복지관을 이용하는 노인들의 자아통합감에 미치는 영향요인을 파악하고자 시도되었다. 본 연구의 연구대상자는 J시 5개 복지관을 이용하는 노인 350명을 대상으로 자아통합감과 사회적 배제, 주관적 건강상태, 사회적 지지, 우울감, 자기효능감의 연관성을 확인하였다. 본 연구결과를 통해 자아통합감에 미치는 영향을 확인한 결과, 우울감(β= -.375)이 자아통합감에 가장 큰 영향력을 보이는 변수로 나타났으며 사회적 지지(β= .295), 주관적 건강상태(β= .135)의 순으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같이 제언하고자 한다. 첫째, 노인의 우울 예방 및 감소 프로그램 확대하고 자조모임 활성화를 통해 주변인들과의 관계 개선과 사회적 소속감을 높여야 한다. 둘째, 노인의 사회적 지지를 위한 (비)공식적 자원의 체계 개발 및 확대 지원이 절실히 필요하다. 셋째, 신체적 건강상태 증진을 위한 의료서비스 확대가 필요하다. 아울러 후속연구에서는 개인적 특성을 반영한 종단 연구와 질적 연구를 통한 보다 구체적인 제언이 제시되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This research is to analyze the influencing factors to ego-integrating realization and ego-integrating sense of elders and to find out the hierarchical relationship and to see how the relationship will affect. 350 Subjects for this research are collected from five welfare centers in J city in order to see relationship among ego-integrating sense, social alienation, subjective health condition, social support, depression, self-effectiveness sense. Throughout this study, influence factors on ego-integrating sense are analyzed hierarchically. The most significant factor was depression(B=-.375) and second and third biggest factors were social support(B=.295) and subjective health condition(B=.135). Based on this research, following suggestions are recommended. First, the relationship with others and the social affiliation need to be improved by expending programs for preventing and alleviating depression and by activating self-helping communities. Secondly, there needs to be both official and inofficial systematic development for resources for social supports of elders. Third, there needs to be promoting physical activity and increasing medical support in oder to improve physical health condition. Follow-up researches, such as studies based on individuality-considered vertical research and qualitative researches, are expected to help successful old age.
