국문 초록

1940년대 후반 대전지역 문화 연구는 대전 충남지역의 근대문학의 단초를 마련한다는 점에서 중요하게 다가온다. 그동안 이 시기 대전지역 문학에 대한 연구로는 박명용의 『대전문학사』에 수록된 『향토(鄕土)』와 시전문지 『동백(冬栢)』 등에 대한 내용이 거의 진부였다. 지금까지 진보문학계열의 자료가 발견되지 않아 생긴 불가피한 현상이었다. 이 계열의 잡지인 『현대』가 발견되었고, 해방 이후부터 한국전쟁이 일어나기 전까지 이 지역에서 발간된 『동방신문』이 발견된 이상 해방기 대전지역 문학에 대해 새롭게 조영할 필요성이 제기된다. 1940년대 후반 대전지역 문학은 다음과 같은 의미를 지닌다. 먼저, 새로 발견된 자료들을 통해 이 시기 대전의 문화, 예술 및 문학을 담은 다양한 매체의 존재를 확인할 수 있다는 점이다. 이 다양한 매체들이 대전지역의 문화, 예술, 문학장을 형성하고 있었던 것이다. 그리고 해방기 대전지역에 순수문학과 진보문학이 공존했음을 알 수 있다는 점이다. 기존의 해방기의 문학 연구를 보연 『향토』와 『동백』 위주의 순수문학 계열의 문학이 주로 논의되었으나 이제는 좌익계열의 문화지인 『현대』가 발견되었음으로 이 시기 대전지역 문학 연구가 새롭게 이루어져야 할 것이다. 또한 해방기 대전지역의 신문인 『동방신문』에 실린 문학작품을 통해 당시 순수 서정을 추구한 지역문인들의 작품세계를 좀 더 확인할 수 있었다는 점이다. 이 시기 순수문학 계열의 문학 면모를 좀 더 알 수 있는 계기를 마련하고 있는 점에서 의의를 찾을 수 있다.

영문 초록

It may be important that the literature study of Daejeon area has built the base of modern literature in the latter half of nineteen forties. Almost most of works are the contents on Parkmyungyong’ 『Hyangto(향토)』 and poem professional magazine, 『Dongback(동백)』, etc, collected in 『Daejeon literature Histoly(대전문학사)』 as the literature study of Daejeon area. Up to now, this is the inevitable phenomenon that the materials of progressive literature series doesn’t have been discovered. 『HyunJdae(현대)』, this series magazine, has been discovered, and it needs the new illumination to Daejeon literature during the period of liberation from the liberation to the outbreak of Korean War, except for discovering the 『Dongbang Newspaper(동방신문)』 published in this area. The purport of the literature study of Daejeon area in the latter half of nineteen forties is as follows. First of all, the various media incorporating culture, art, and literature can be identified through new discovered materials. These various media have made the place of culture, art, literature in Daejeon area. And they let pure literature and progressive literature coexist during the liberation period in Daejeon area. To study the literature study of established liberation period, 『Hyangto(향토)』 and 『Dongback(동백)』-oriented pure literature was mainly discussed, but now for 『Hyundae(현대)』, leftist series culture magazine, has been discovered, Daejeon literature of that time should be studied in new viewpoint. The literary work world of literary men who inquired into the pure lyricism at that time in these areas could also be identified more by the literary works published in 『Dongbang Newspaper(동방신문)』, and the purport is to arrange the moment that the literature aspects of pure literature series at that time can be known very well.
