박재삼 시의 전통 구성방식 연구

국문 초록

이 논문은 1950년대라는 시대적 맥락에서 박재삼의 시집 『춘향이 마음』에 드러나는 전통재현 방식을 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이는 기존 연구가 ‘전통’을 하나의 원형이나 한국적 총체성으로 설정하는 것과 달리 그것이 ‘만들어지는 것’임을 전제하는 데에서 출발한다. 박재삼은 작품에 드러나는 서정적 전통이라는 수사에의 지향으로 인해 언뜻 역사적 격동기인 1950년대의 외부에 놓인 듯 보인다. 그러나 그의 생애사야말로 우리 민족의 고난과 무관하지 않으며 역사와 개인의 상관관계에 대해 고찰할 수 있는 시대를 살았다. 즉 박재삼의 첫 시집은 그 완성도나 주제적 지향성도 중요하지만, 무엇보다 그 시대적 맥락과 함께 독해해야 한다. 즉 자기발언으로서의 서정 양식을 통해 문학성을 구축하고 나아가 그 인식적 지향성 역시 드러내고 있음을 고찰해야 한다. 박재삼이 시에서 전통을 만들어가는 방식은 우선 설화를 통해 구성하고자 하는 민족적 공동체 구현 문제와 춘향이라는 인물을 통해서 드러내고자 하는 역사적 주체 문제와 닿아 있다. 다음으로 기억을 통해서 유년을 재구성함으로써 개인을 구성해 나가는 방식과 그 속에서 실존적 인물을 가장한 리얼리티를 구현한다는 점이다. 끝으로 서정의 문법을 통해서 민족적 율격을 구성하는 방식인데, 이는 그가 천착한 시조의 율격을 고수하는 방식이 아니라 개인과 역사의 길항 속에서 그것들을 통찰함으로써 형성되는 한 개인의 시선을 보여주는 것이기도 하다. 그러나 박재삼 시는 그의 체험적 고난이나 민족의 비극상을 충분히 묘파하지 못한다는 데 한계가 있다. 궁극적으로 전통서정시를 구성함으로써 문학사적 계보로는 김소월, 박목월, 서정주 등을 계승코자한 지향성은 명백하나, 그 연속성에 집착한 나머지 자신만의 서정을 구성한 측면이 상대적으로 궁색한 면이 없지 않다. 무엇보다 후기시로 갈수록 그시적 긴장감이 이어지지 못하고 일상이나 죽음의 허무에 갇혀 그것을 극복하고자 분투함으로써 대문자 역사를 구성하고자 노력했던 초기시의 지향성을 잃었다. 이는 박재삼 개인이 병마와 가난으로 인해 치열한 작품 활동 보다는 생계를 위한 다작의 길을 선택할 수밖에 없었던 탓이기도 하다. 여러 측면에서 본고의 작업은 논의의 끝이 아닌, 시작에 불과하다.

영문 초록

This dissertation to research the traditional reappearance method which appears in the Park jae-sam’s 『Chunhyangyi Ma-eum』. 1950’s the tradition being to come to make examines closely from periodic connection. Park jae-sam’s poetry with 1950’s there is relation. Not only namely traditional lyricism it expresses a national trouble. In because must investigate from interrelation of history and the individual. The method which makes a tradition, Park jae-sam’s poetry. Narrative imaginative power it leads first and it embodies the national community. Chunhyang is historical subject. It means that the namely narrative people are reconstituted with historical subject. Memory it leads second and it reconstitutes a repeater. This it leads and it reconstitutes of the people it makes the mote emphasize which will freeze and the experience of the individual. Grammar of lyricism it leads in end and it is a method which composes a national ratio standing, this does he thousand the method which adheres the ratio standing of good Korean verse knows discerns those with is to show the gaze of one individual who is formed from competition inside of the individual and history. But Park jae-sam’s poetry his experience trouble or the tragedy as a matter of the nation the grave group it does not do there is a limit enough. Ultimately composes a traditional lyric with Kim so-wol and Park mok-wol, Seo jeong-ju etc., the succession nose person one directivity clarity should the cotton where the side which composes the lyricism only of remaining oneself who is attached in the continuity is poor relatively this is not with literary private genealogy. What compared to the poetic feeling of tension could not be joined together as time goes by with postscript and city ordinary or dead vainly to confine it under overcoming boil it struggles with capital letter history under composing boil it lost the directivity of the early poetry when it endeavors. This the Park jae-sam’s individual is caused by the demon of ill health and poorly and the work activity which is a dentition compared to does only it will be able to select the route of the prolificacy in writing for a livelihood it is a blame. Sample intentional work is not the end of discussion from the various side, it is only in start.
