彌勒寺址 石塔 발견 銘文의 ‘大伯士奉聖’

영문 초록

National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage(Korea) found on an of inscription inside of the stone pagoda on the site of Mireugsa temple(彌勒寺址石塔) on June 26th, 2003. I studied this inscription in this paper. As a result, I’ve found that this inscription is read as ‘Daebaegsabongseong(大伯士奉聖)’, and ‘Daebaegsa’ is a government post related to Buddhist affairs, and ‘Bongseong’ means Bongseongsa(奉聖寺) temple. And, through this inscription, I can also suppose that Mireugsa temple was controlled and maintained by Bongseongsa-seongjeon(奉聖寺成典) at the capital of Silla. I also understand that the stone pagoda of Mireugsa temple was renovated during the reign of king Gyungdeog(景德王). The inscription letters saying that Daebaegsa of Bongseongsa temple had joined this construction was found under renovation of the stone pagoda at the site of Mireugsa temple.
