국문 초록

李尙迪(1804~1865) 총 12차례나 사절단으로 연경에 다녀왔던 역관이다. 역관이라는 신분적 한계에도 불구하고 다양한 청대 문인과 교유했으며, 그러한 정황을 「懷人詩」28首와 「續懷人詩」57首, 「西笑編」14首에 담았다. 회인시에서 거론한 인물이 무려 98인이나 된다. 이상적의 회인시에는 청대 문인과 교유하는 자신의 자부심이 드러나 있다. 詩畵를 중심으로 한 교유는 급속도로 확산되었고 그러한 교유의 현장을 그림으로 그렸는데, 「海客琴樽圖」나 「海客琴樽第二圖」, 「苔岑雅契圖」 등이 그것이다. 또한 유희해가 조선 사신의 도움으로 엮은 『海東金石苑』은 청대 문인의 조선에 대한 관심을 반영한 것이라 하겠다. 수차례의 연행 과정에서 이상적은 조선과 청 양국의 문화교류의 현장에 직접 참여했으며, 중간자 혹은 使者 역할을 충실히 수행했다. 이전의 문인들보다 이상적에 이르러, 조청 문화 교류는 더욱 활발하게 진행되었고 그 한축을 이상적이 차지한 것이다. 아편 정책과 관련된 인물을 그린 회인시에서는 아편에 대한 이상적의 의식을 명확히 확인할 수 있다. 嚴禁論과 弛禁論을 거론했던 두 인물을 다루면서 상이하게 표현한 것은 엄금론에 더 무게감을 주었다는 의미가 되기 때문이다. 또한 당시 실용주의 정책을 선도했던 왕희손 등의 인물을 거론했는데, 이는 조선 또한 이러한 정책을 수립하고 시행해야 한다는 목소리이다. 이 시기 청과 조선 문인의 교유는 이전 조선 문인의 일방적인 흐름에서 벗어나 쌍방 간의 관심에서 촉발되었다. 청대 문인들 역시 당대 조선에 깊은 관심을 갖고 있었다. 백준은 「朝鮮竹枝詞」를 통해 조선의 풍속이나 역사에 지대한 관심을 표출했고 조선과 청이 공유한 역사에 대해서도 서로 간 논의가 있었다는 점은 주목할 만하다.

영문 초록

Lee Sangjeok was a translator who had gone to Yeongyeong as delegation. In spite of status limitation as a translator, he associated with writers of Ching and he described this friendship in 28 poems of Heoinsi, 57 poems of Sokheoinsi and 14 poems of Seosopyen. 98 people was introduced in Heoinsi. Lee Sangjeok indicated his pride related to keep company with Ching's writers in Hoeinsi. Social intercourse centered on poem and picture was rapidly spreaded and he drew these situation. These pictures were Haegekgeumjundo, Haegekgeumjunjeedo, Tejamahgyedo and so on. Also Hedonggeumseokwon tied together by You Haehae with Chosun envoys’ help reflected interest of Ching's writers on Chosun. In course of several tour to Yoengyeong, Lee Sangjeok himself participated in the site of cultural exchange between Chosun and Ching, and conducted a meson or envoy's role faithfully. Cultural exchange was more proceeded in the time of Lee Sangjeok's time rather than previous writers. He fulfilled important role of this exchange. In Heoinsi described characters related to the policy about opium, we made sure Lee Sanjeok's view about opium. He dealt with a person of stricter prohibition discussion and a person of prohibition. He emphasized a person of stricter prohibition. Also he portrayed Wang Heeson lead the policy of pragmatism, which he hoped that Chosun should establish and practice the policy. Social intercourse between Ching and Chosun’s writers aroused from interest of each other in these time. Ching’s writers had deeply attention on Chosun in that time. Baek Jun expressed his interest about custom and history on Chosun through Chosunjukgisa. Arguments on history related between Chosun and Ching should be taken note.
