영문 초록

This paper describes case studies on an enterprise ontology(EO) based analysis and representation of the steel fabrication process in shipbuilding. We expand the original EO by building an ontology on concepts of steel fabrication process and by including it into the original EO. We represent the steel fabrication process in shipbuilding and analyze present state of it with the expanded EO and Protégé plug-ins. Moreover, we can analyze dependency relations among the workflow elements. Through the case studies, we have found the effectiveness of EO in business management and workflow management in complex heavy industries.
