영문 초록

According to the statistics published by the Government in 2007, heart diseases ranked 3rd as the cause of death, which is around 40% of death percentage. It also shows the number of patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction(AMI) had been increased by 50% from 2002 through 2005, that is, AMI had raised the death rate of heart diseases dramatically. The number of preventable deaths in 2005 was about 40% of all emergency deaths. which is 4 or 5 times more than that of U.S. or Japan. In case of Myocardial Infarction failure, the patient's life depends on the first 4 minutes, which is the maximum period of time for CPR and AED. The Government, as a result, amended a new bill of expanding the use of AED to decrease the preventable death rate down to around 20%. However, it has not been practically effective so far. This study proposes the optimal number of AED and where and how AED should be arranged through the country with certain priority. It also suggests the budget for each stage along with the portion of reasonable Government support.
