장애유무에 따른 국어， 영어， 수학 교과별 내재동기의 변화 추세

국문 초록

본 연구는 잠재성장모형을 활용하여 장애유무에 따른 국어, 영어，수학 교과별 내재동기의 변화 추세를 알아보고지 하였다. 이를 위해 2005년부터 2009년까지의 한국교육종단연구 4 년간 패널자료를 활용하였다. 패널자료를 통해 얻어진 분석대상은 2005년을 기준으로 전체 6690멍이었으며 이 중 장애학생은 250명으로 전체 분석대상의 35%를 차지하였다. 이 분석대상을 통해 무조건모형(선형모형， 자유모수모형)과 조건모형을 활용하여 장애유무에 따른 국어，영어，수학 교과별 내재동기의 변화를 분석하였다. 분석에 앞서기술 통계치와 왜도와 첨도를 산출하여 정규성 가정을 검증하였고，무조건모형에서 선형모형과 자유모수모형을 비교하였는데 자유모수모형이 자료에 더 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 이 때 기울기 변산이 유의했기 문에 장애유무라는 독립변인을 사용하여 기울기 변화를 설명하기 위해 장애유무 독립변인을 가진 조건 모형을 설정하여 분석하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 국어，영어，수학 교과에 따라 장애유무에 따라 내재동기의 변화 추세가 다르게 나타났는데，국어교과는 정애유무에 무관하게 내재동기의 초기 값(intercept)과 기울기 (slope)가 동일하게 나왔으나，수학교과와 영어교과는 장애유무에 따라 초기 값은 달랐으나 년도에 따라 변하는 기울기는 통일한 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

Data from both approximately 6690 students and 250 students with disabilities in the Korean Education Longitudinal Study(KELS) was analyzed to examine the trajectoty of intrinsic motivation on main subjects(Korean, Math, and English) between students with/without disabilities ftom 2005 to 2009. Latent growth modeling(LGM) with unconditional and conditional models was employed to estimate growth rate and initial status on intrinsic motivation. Results revealed that regardless of the main subjects, there were no sraristically significant differences in slope on intrinsic motivation between students with and without disabilities, but for math and English there were significant differences in initial status between the two groups. Implications for practice and future research are discussed.
