국문 초록

본고는 수헌 이중경이라는 새로운 작가의 발굴과 조명을 통해 한문학의 대상 지역과 작가의 범위를 확대하는 동시에 17세기 영남지역에서 이전의 도학적 세계인식의 자장에서 조금씩 변모해가는 실상을 살펴보고자 하는 의도에서 작성된 것이다. 수려한 경관을 지닌 운문산과 東倉川을 배경으로 전개된 청도의 산수문학은 탁영과 삼족당을 거쳐 수헌에 이른다. 자타가 山水癖이라고 일컬을 만큼 산수에 대한 애호를 지닌 수헌은 44세 때 운문산 유람을 통해 梧臺를 발견하고, 49세에 오대에 精舍를 구축한다. 선현과 가문의 산수지취를 계승하고 세속의 얽매임을 떨치기 위해 시작한 은거생활과 그 속에서의 교유를 통해 나름의 문학을 꽃피우게 되는데, 그 결과물이 바로 『雜卉園集』이다. 『잡훼원집』에 드러난 시세계의 양상은 우선 시조의 서문에서 措語의 사이에 道學之大關을 감당할 수 없다고 한 것과 자신의 노래는 어머니를 잃은 슬픈 마음의 발로라고 한 것, 그리고 내 즐거움을 즐기고 내 노래를 부르겠다(樂吾樂而歌吾歌)는 언표로 요약되는데, 퇴계 이후 온유돈후한 시를 지어야 한다는 영남지역의 일반적인 의식과는 일정한 거리가 있음을 알 수 있다. 『잡훼원집』의 서문에서 그는 존재의 본질을 탐색하기보다는 꽃과 잎, 줄기와 덩굴, 곧 사물의 外面에 드러난 그 자체의 자연스러움, 곧 존재의 근원인 理의 세계에 주목하기 보다는 萬象으로 펼쳐진 分殊의 세계를 주목했다. 도학자들이 理一分殊의 세계에서 觀物察理를 통해 내외의 통일적 이해를 지향하는데 반해, 외면에 펼쳐진 分殊의 세계를 있는 그대로 觀物하려는 경향을 보인다. 아울러 사군자 등을 통해 이념적 형상을 상징적으로 드러낸 기존의 경향과 달리 雜卉에 주목했다. 이는 그의 시가 기본적으로 도학의 범주에 있지만, 세계관에 있어서는 현격한 차이를 보이고 있음을 알 수 있다. 이렇게 도학이라는 이념의 큰 빗장에 얽매이지 않고 드러난 그 자체의 자연스러움을 추구하는 그의 시는 일상의 한가로움의 추구, 농촌사회의 다양한 모습, 당대 현실의 사실적 묘사와 애민의식, 그리고 「梧臺雜詠」의 경우처럼 산수 속에서의 체험을 바탕으로 자신이 그리는 이상향을 미적으로 형상화하기도 하였다. 수헌의 시에 나타난 이러한 양상은 영남 지역에서 17세기 이후 기존의 도학파 문학이 재지적 기반이나 개인의 처지, 지역과 시대 상황에 따라 어떻게 변모하는가를 보여주는 한 사례로 거론할 수 있을 것으로 본다.

영문 초록

This thesis was written by the intention of looking about the fact that while expanding the area in and the span of the chinese literature through the big name - Soohun Lee Joong-Kyoung, understanding its previous Dohahk, a kind of moral philosophy, had been developed in Gyeongsang Province, the eastern region of Korea in the17th century. Nature literature in Chung-do as the background of the river Dongchang and Mt. Woonmoon with the spectacular scenery ranged from Kim Il-son and Kim Dae-You to Lee Joong-Kyoung Lee Joong-Kyoung with the love of nature found Odae through the sightseeing of Mt. Woonmoon at the age of 44 and built a cottage there at 49. Jobhwewonjip, a complete collection of poems by Lee Joong-Kyoung, resulted from the fact that he had good taste in nature , retired among nature to free himself from social restraints and flourished in his literature by making friends with literary men. Lee Joong-Kyoung tried to say in Jobhwewonjip that to sum up, first of all, he could not afford to the burden of Dohahk, his poetry came from the sorrow of his mother's death, and he would enjoy his pleasure and his song. But this thought shows the fact that this put some distance from the public consciousness in Gyeongsang Province. He noticed in the preface of Jobhwewonjip the world of boonsoo presented by a number of appearances instead of Ree, the source of the presence, that is, the naturalness of the objects displayed outside. His poems of pursueing the naturalness of all things themselves described life of leisure, images of various rural communities, realistic pictures of the reality those days and Utopia from the basis of the his experience in nature as in such cases of Odaejobyoung. Finally, Lee Joong-Kyoung's poems were treated as one of the cases in which the literature of the existing Dohahk party had been transformed according to the bases of their lives, their private situations, their region and their era in Gyeongsang Province after 17th century.
