『黃庭經』의 存想身神法과 화려한 몸 속 세상

국문 초록

일반적으로 上淸派의 핵심 경전인 『黃庭經』을 두고서, 도교의 수련이론에 의학과 해부학을 도입하여 이루어진 책으로 규정한다. 이러한 입장이 가능한 것은 『황정경』 에 보이는 장기들의 모양과 크기들이 의학적 내용을 보는 듯하 고, 인체를 세 부분으로 나누어 ‘황정’을 설정한 것이 의학의 ‘三焦’개념과 유사하기 때문이다. 문제는 이러한 관점을 취할 경우, 『황정경』 이 그려내는 몸속 장기들에 간직된 신들의 모습 및 그 기능, 그리고 『황정경』 속의 도교적 수련을 설명할 수 없게 된다. 이에 필자는 『황정경』 이 그리는 장기들의 모습과 색상, 기능뿐 만 아니라, 화려한 모습의 신들도 전래의 도교 서적들에서 이어진 내시법의 수련의 결과로 얻어진 것으로 파악하였다. 이를 위해 『老子河上公章句』와 『太平經』 등에 보이는 내시법을 추적하고, 이들 서적에서 나타난 신들을 규명하 여, 『황정경』 에서 그리고 있는 장기들과 신들이 도교이론의 내부적 발전과정에서 도달한 것임을 해명하였다. 아울러 의학적 관점으로 황정경 을 파악하는 것이 가지는 문제점을 해명하였는데, 동양에서 의학적 목적으로 해부가 실시된 적이 없으며, 『黃帝內經』과 『難經』의 이론이 황정경 에 스며들었다는 것도 이들 책들이 갖는 관계에 서 필연성이 적다는 점을 해명하였다. 도교적 전통에서 내시법은 존신법으로 발전하고, 존신에 의해 몸속의 화려한 신들의 세계가 드러남도 아울러 해명하였다.

영문 초록

In general, as far as essential scripture, 『Huang-ting jing(黃庭經)』 of Shang-qing pai(上淸派) is concerned, it is deemed as a book that had brought idea of medicine and anatomy to training theory for Taoism. This position is regarded probably true because the shape and size of inner organs seen at Huang-ting jing looked like medical contents, dividing human body into three pieces and setting up ‘huang-ting(黃庭)’, which seemed similar to the concept of ‘sam-cho(三焦)’ in medicine. But, the problem lies in, as far as this point of view is concerned, that it is hard to explain figures of Gods described in inner organs and functions drawn in the 『Huang-ting jing』 , and Taoistic training in 『Huang-ting jing』 . Therefore, I, researcher, happened to regard brilliant figures and colors of Gods drawn by 『Huang-ting jing』 , as result from training of nei-shi(內視) continued from inherited Taoistic books. To do this, I have tracked down nei-shi shown on 『He-shanggong(河上公)』 and 『Tai-ping jing(太平經)』 , revealed Gods shown in these books, explaining that inner organs and Gods from Huang-ting jing had reached from the developmental process of Taoistic theory. In addition, I have explained about the problems in identifying 『Huangting jing』 from the viewpoint of medicine. In reality, there had been no anatomy for the purpose of medical orientation in the Oriental W orld. Furthermore, I have explained about the fact that the theory of 『Huangje-nei-gyeong(黃帝內經)』 and 『nei-gyeong(難經)』 had penetrated into 『Huang-ting jing』 without having common ground with each other unavoidably. Finally I have revealed that in the course of Taoistic tradition development, nei-shi progressed into cun-shin method(存神法), which had revealed brilliant world of Gods inside the body according to cun-shin.
