국문 초록

  초ㆍ중등학교 미술과 교육과정이 2007년 개정되었다. 2007년에 개정된 교육과정은 제7차 교육과정의 부분ㆍ수시 개정 체제를 취하고 있다. 이것은 사회 변화의 주기가 급속도로 단축되고 다양한 교육적 요구들을 보다 적극적으로 반영하기 위한 것이다. 제7차 미술과 교육과정은 1997년 개정 이후 지금까지 거의 10여년이 학교 현장에 적용되어지고 있다. 새 개정 교육과정에서는 비록 제7차 미술과 교육과정의 부분ㆍ수시 개정 체제를 따르고 있지만 10년 전과 지금의 사회 문화적 환경의 변화를 고려할 때 교육내용 및 내용 체계 개편이 필수 불가결 하였다. 따라서 새롭게 개정된 미술과 교육과정의 내용을 중심으로 한 교육과정의 고찰은 교육과정의 내용 이해를 위해 반드시 필요하다고 본다. 따라서 본 논문은 새 미술과 교육과정의 내용 이해를 위한 고찰을 주요 목적으로 한다. 이를 위한 연구내용은 미술과 내용선정의 기준과 내용구성의 틀을 중심으로 한 내용체계, 미적체험, 표현, 감상 영역을 중심으로 한 학년 군별 내용을 각각 고찰하고자 한다. 본 논문은 새 미술과 교육과정의 내용을 이해하고 앞으로 있을 교과서 집필에도 도움이 될 것이라 기대한다.

영문 초록

  The curriculum of the elementary school fine arts was revised in 2007. This new curriculum adopts a partial, occasional revision system of the 7th curriculum, which is targeted for reflecting various educational demands more positively than before, as the period of social change is rapidly decreasing.
  The 7th curriculum of elementary school fine arts has been applied to schools for about 10 years, after its revision in 1997. Although it conforms to the partial, occasional revision system. the need for revision of the contents and their system is indispensable. considering the change in social, cultural environment during the past 10 years. Thus, the contents interpretation of the revised curriculum is expected to help us understand its contents in a new curriculum.
  Hence, the main purpose of this study is the interpretation of elementary school fine arts for understanding its new curriculum. For this, I have examined the criteria for selection and the frame of the contents of this new curriculum, and studied its system and the contents for each grade. Especially, I have compared this new curriculum to the 7th curriculum. examined the added contents. and presented some examples about their instructive contents in detail. I believe that this study will not only help to understand the new curriculum of elementary school fine arts. but also serve as a guide in writing a new textbook.
