국문 초록

  筆記는 그 자체로서 고유한 성격을 지니며 발전하지만, 稗說의 배경으로서도 주목된다. 필기의 원천은 사대부의 독서와 생활공간이다. 朝廷의 官僚로서, 讀書人으로의 생활을 영위하기 위해서는 역사, 국토, 인문, 지리 등 여러 방면의 지식이 요구된다. 생활주변에서 벌어지는 모든 일에 대한 인문학적·정치적 관심의 소산이 필기인 것이다. 문학과 제도·역사·풍속 등이 필기의 대상에 포함되는 것은 당연하다.
  『？齋叢話』,『筆苑雜記』등의 저서가 후대의 野史뿐 아니라 개인의 文集등에 인용되는 것은 필기가 추구하는 사실성·객관성 때문이다. 필기 향유층은 필기 저서에 실린 사물의 묘사나 상황의 기술 등에 대하여 객관성과 정확성을 요구한다. 이것은 필기가 가지고 있는 중요한 장르적 관습으로 패설과 구별되는 면모이다. 그러므로 역사적 인물과 사건의 취재원으로 활용되고 博覽의 대상이 되는 것이다.
  패설은 필기의 저술 전통과 긴밀한 관련이 있다. 필기의 전통적인 관점에서는 현실성 및 객관성을 벗어난 ‘웃음을 위한 글쓰기’를 경계한다. 민간의 비리한 이야기는 士大夫의 계급적 이익 － 國家 經營 및 敎化에 도움이 되지 않는 것으로 인식되었다. 그러나 博學의 관점에서 사대부의 관심영역이 점차 넓어지게 되고, 이 과정에서 점차 ‘사대부의 공간’에서 발생한 ‘笑談’에 ‘鄙俚之詞’가 추가된다. 그리고『촌중비어』의 예처럼 村翁과 나눈 이야기를 기록하는 데까지 발전하게 된다. ‘웃음’이란 주제를 전면에 내세우며, 민간에서 형성된 이야기를 기록하고 향유하는 풍토가 형성된 것이다. 이런 맥락에서『禦眠楯』의 등장은 필연이라 할 수 있다. 이것이 본격적인 패설이다. 민간의 정서를 바탕으로 한 여항의 이야기가 文學史에 자기모습을 드러낸 것이다.

영문 초록

  The "Pilgi" developed with its own character as itself but it is also focused as the background of the "Paeseol", a story around the people.
  The origin of the "Pilgi" is men"s readings and living spaces of noble.
  As bureaucrats of the Royal court, they were required knowledge covering all sorts of fields such as history, country, human knowledge, geography, and so on in order to live on their own.
  It is the "Pilgi" that is a result of the humanistic and the political interest over happening the every event around their living circumstances.
  It is natural that literary, system, history, and custom are included in it.
  It is because its reality and objectivity that the writes like「Yongjaechonghwa」and 「Pilwonjabgi」were quoted not only on the unofficial history in the later generation but also on the personal collection of works.
  If you want to enjoy the "Pilgi", you should have objectivity and accuracy over description of things and situations in it.
  And this is an important genre feature with it and distinguishes from the "Paeseol".
  Therefore, it can be used when we study a historical character and an event.
  We could get lots of information from it and be a well-informed man.
  The "Paeseol" is closely connected with the writing technique of the "Pilgi".
  The Writing technique of the "Pilgi" takes precautions against the writing for laughter out of reality and objectivity.
  That is the people"s absurd stories are not any help for their class advantages like the national administration and education.
  However, fields that the noble is interested in are getting wider and wider as a view of the national administration and education.
  In this process, the absurd event is added to funny stories comming out the noble in the "Paeseol"
  Such as an example of「Chonjunbieo」, the "Paeseol" recorded conversation with the old living in the country.
  As a topic in advocating "laughter", it builds the cultural climate to record the conversation with the old and enjoy it; finally people"s stories based on their feelings come out and show over the history of literature.
