초 중등 미술교과서의 외래어, 외국어 및 한자어 미술용어 분석 연구

국문 초록

  초·중등 미술교과서에서 다루어지는 다양한 미술용어들은 미술과수업의 교수-학습에 있어 이론과 실제에 해당되는 내용들과 직접적으로 관련된다. 미술교과서에서 사용되는 미술용어 중에는 외래어, 외국어 및 한자어가 차지하는 비중이 높다. 미술용어에 있어 영어, 불어 등의 외래어, 외국어 및 한자어는 미술교과서에서 어느 정도 사용되고 있으며 이런 미술용어는 초·중등 학생들이 미술과수업을 학습하는데 있어 어떻게 영향을 주는가를 반성적으로 살펴볼 때, 우리말 순화의 필요성과 정확한 표기의 중요성이 제기된다. 이 연구는 미술과 수업에서 용어가 갖는 중요성을 알아보고 초·중등 미술교과서의 외래어·외국어 및 한자어의 실태를 조사·정리하여 문제점을 파악하는 것이다.

영문 초록

  Art terminology appears in elementary and secondary art textbooks which is directly related to studio work, art appreciation, aesthetics and art history of art lessons. After students learn the art terminology through class activity, they feel free to use the terminology by practicing and dealing with ideas they have.   If students understand the context of art terminology fully, they will have sense of understanding the whole world of art as experiencing, searching, knowing and enjoying.   We are concerned when we see the art terminology in textbooks, foreign art terminology causes elementary and secondary students to learn and to understand about art and art culture. Art terminology in art textbooks very much depend on foreign languages such as English and French which need to be translated in Korean. Translating Foreign art terminology into Korean will help the students to understand the meaning of the words more easily.   For this study, we have examined how foreign art terminology such as English, French and Chinese appears in elementary and secondary art textbooks and presented the foreign terminology sorting by school level instead of grade by grade. Along with this, we also discuss how the art terminology is important and what the problems of foreign art terminology is.
