현상학적 ‘자아’에 기초한 ‘학습자’ 의미 재고에 따른 시각문화의 관계적 이해 교육방안 - 초등미술을 교육중심으로

국문 초록

？？우리는 시각적 전회의 시대에 살고 있다. 시. 감각에 호소하는 시각문화는 미술교육과 분리되지 않으며 시각문화교육은 학습자의 이해 교육을 중시할 필요가 있다. 이는 현대 교육이 학습자의 지식형성과정에 중요한 의미를 두는 것과 무관하지 않으며 학습에 있어 학습자를 인식주체로 보는 것이다. 시각문화 교육 역시 시각문화에 대하여 순종의 의미보다는 이해와 파악을 지향하는 교육이어야 한다. 그러므로 현 교육에서 교육과정의 부과 내용보다 ‘학습자’에 대한 관점과 역할은 재고되고 조명될 필요가 있다. 현상학에서 자아는 현상, 실제적 사태 그 자체에서 외재적인 것과 내재적인 것을 융합 하지만 기존의 일반적이며 보편적 대상을 괄호 치기 한 후 자신안의 판단적 의미를 부여하는 과정을 수행 한다. 현상학 관점에서 자아는 시각문화에 놓여있는 자아와 동일한 맥락으로 이해 될 수 있을 것으로 본다. 현상학적 자아가 의미적작용을 통해 여타의 편견을 배제하고 자아 안의 의미적 판단을 추구하는 것은 시각문화 이해교육에 중요한 교육적 의미를 시사한다. 이에 본 연구는 현상학적 자아 개념에 기초하여 학습자의 자아 의미와 이에 따른 미술적 ‘학습‘의 의미를 재고하고 그에 따른 실제방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있으며 이를 통하여 시각문화교육에서 관계에 대한 이해 교육의 필요성을 강조하고 이전에 야기된 실천적인 문제들을 축소 극복하는데 접근한다.

영문 초록

  We are living in the era of visual revolution. The visual culture appealing to poetry and senses is not separated from the art education and the education of visual culture is needed to value much of the education of understanding for learners. This is not unrelated to modern education that puts significance on the process of forming knowledge by learners. It emphasizes experience and understanding through an actual relationship. It also regards the learners as the subject of recognition in learning.   Actually the process of forming meaning through the relational experience with learners does not mean to be adjusted or regulated by various phenomenological variables, or to submit unconditionally to scientific analysis or universal and uniform regulations. The education of visual culture should also aim at understanding and grasping the visual culture rather than obeying it. Therefore in present education, the viewpoint and role of learners, rather than imposed contents of the curriculum, needs to be reconsidered and illuminated. In this context, arguments of phenomenological educational research are presented. It is brought significantly into relief to recover the conscience or intention of subjects.   In phenomenology the self is the fusion of world, body and mental self, that is, pure self and transcendental self. In other words, the phenomenon, the actual matter is in itself fusing the external and the internal, but conducts the procedure of giving a judgmental meaning to itself after putting the existing general objects in brackets. In the viewpoint of phenomenology, self seems to be understood as the same as the self put in the visual culture. Also through meaningful use of the self, the self enabling the meaningful judgement in it and excluding other bias may be the part to be accepted as an important viewpoint in pre-understanding learners in the education of understanding visual culture.   The purpose of this study is to consider the meaning of "learner"s self for the education of relational understanding about visual culture based on phenomenological "self" and the meaning of artistic "learning" accordingly. It is also to emphasize the necessity of the problem at hand in the education of visual culture, improvement and the education of understanding relationship and to reduce and cope with the practical problems raised previously.
