국문 초록

  본 연구는 박물관학적 미술경향을 작품의 매개체로서 사용한 여러 현대작가들의 작품을 분석하고 박물관 미학의 이론적 근거를 제고하며 이러한 미술 경향이 박물관 미술교육에 수용될 수 있는 가능성을 살펴보고자한다. 다양한 서양 현대미술의 배경에는 박물관 미학이 커다란 위치를 차지하고 있으며 실제로 수많은 작가들이 박물관학적 미술경향을 작품에 수용하고 있다. 그것은 서구의 미술교육이 현장교육을 통해서 이루어지는 박물관 미술교육에 커다란 의미를 둔 결과이기도 하다. 그러나 우리나라에서는 이러한 미술경향의 소개가 미흡하여 여러 종류의 박물관을 현대 미술교육의 영역으로 끌어 들이고자 할 때 실제적 작품해석과 아이디어 산출에 어려움을 겪어왔다. 그러한 의미에서 본연구자는 첫째, 수집의 특성, 해석방법의 역사적 고찰, 모더니즘과 포스트 모더니즘의 비평적 고찰을 통해 박물관학적 미술경향의 이론적 근거를 제시하고 둘째, 박물관을 작품의 매개체로 해석한 작가들, 유리 상자의 디스플레이를 이용한 작가들, 수집과 디스플레이 방법론을 이용한 작가들로 나누어 박물관학적 미술경향의 작품 분석을 시도 하며 셋째, 박물관학적 미술경향의 교육적 수용 가능성을 고찰 하면서 실제적인 박물관의 접근방법에 실마리를 제공하고자 한다.

영문 초록

  This study purposes to analyse many contemporary artists, who are involved in the museological art tendency as medium to represent their own idea. It is established the theory of museum aesthetics evolving the perceptive potentiality of museological art tendency for the art education.   In the background of contemporary art, the museum aesthetics have positioned as one of the crucial elements to understand post-modern art and many artists have involved in the museological art tendency to explore their own concept. It is the result of endeavor for the proper adaptation toward high level of museum art education.   However, it has been insufficient to introduce the interpretation methodology for the enhancement of Korean museum art education in the notion of museological art tendency. In fact, many art teachers have underwent trial and error to interpret museum artifact as medium in terms of contemporary art.   In this sense, this research concentrates on the following issues:   First, this study scrutinizes the peculiar character of collecting, historical approach for the interpretation methodology and the meaning of postmodernism to extend museum aesthetics. Second, this research is trying to analyse the contemporary artists" works permeating the museological art tendency with collecting, interpretation and display methodology. Lastly, this paper is examining the perceptive potentiality of museological art tendency and suppling the clue for the proper approach to the museum art education.
