心遠子 韓在濂의 학문과 문학에 대하여 - 18세기 송도지식인의 한 측면

국문 초록

  본고는 심원자 한재렴(1775~1818, 자 霽園)의 학문과 문학에 대하여 논하고자 한다. 송도학맥의 성장은 18세기에 와서 이루어지는 바, 徐敬德에서 비롯한 학맥은 趙有善, 韓敬儀, 馬游, 金憲基, 金天復을 지나면서 꽃을 피웠고, 한재렴은 林景翰의 글씨, 臨皐子의 그림과 함께 시로써 송도 3奇로 꼽혔다. 그는 한재렴은 『心遠子詩抄』(51제 122수),『讀書甲乙問對』, 『高麗古都徵』(7권 3책, 1850년경)을 남기고 있다.   한재렴의 생애를 결정지었던 만남이 두 차례가 있었으니, 하나는 연암과의 만남이고, 하나는 정조와의 만남이다. 그는 연암을 통해 漢學, 즉 고증학을 습득했고, 정조의 지우를 통해 문학적 재주를 인정받아 중앙무대에서 신진 문인들과 교유할 수 있었다. 특히 한학은 자신의 고향인 松都의 고적을 애상과 추억 속에 머물도록 하지 않았고, 나아가 고증을 통해 고적에 대한 오해와 편견을 수정하려는 모습으로 발전하기도 했다. 그 성과가 『고려고도징』이다. 또한 그는 春夏 속의 산거에서 마주한 일상을 그리움과 한가로움으로 그려내며 자신의 삶을 다독이기도 했다. 이런 시적 취향은 實事를 추구하던 학문적 취향과 닿아있을것이다.   송도는 조선시대를 통틀어 가장 소외된 지역 가운데 하나였지만 조선후기 학문과 문학의 개방성과 다양성을 설명하기 위해 지성사적 복권의 의미가 있으며, 한재렴의 학문과 문학은 그 磁場 안에 있던 생산물로 서, 18세기 송도지식인을 탐색하기 위한 포스트로서의 의미가 있다.

영문 초록

  This is to discuss a study and literature of Simwonja Han Jaeryeom (1775~1818). In the eighteenth century, Songdohakmak (It is a community to study together) grew, and the community started from Seo Gyoungdeok became very popular through the age of Jo Yuseon, Han Gyoungui, Mayu, Kim Hungi, Kim Cheonbok. And with his poetry, Han Jaeryoem is one of the three eccentric people with Yim Gyounghan"s handwriting and Yim Goja"s paintings. Han Jaeryeom has left 『Simwonjasicho(心遠子詩抄)』, 『Dok- seogapeulmundae(讀書甲乙問對)』, 『Goryeogodojing(高麗古都徵)』.   He could meet two great people and the first was meeting with Yeonam and another was with King Jungjo. I could learn a scholar of Chinese classic which is ta bibliographical study 〈of Chinese classics〉 through Yeonam. He was acknowledged as a literary man through King Jungjo"s close friends and he could interchange his literary ideas with rising writers in the literary circles in the metropolis. Especially, as for a scholar of Chinese classic, he didn"t leave historical remains of his hometown Songdo in sorrow and remembrance and furthermore, it was developed to correct the prejudice and misunderstanding about the historical remains by studying historical evidence. And the product is 『Goryegodojing』. He also tried to comfort himself by describing his daily life as yearning and peacefulness inside the spring and summer mountain. This poetical taste would be in connection with his literary taste that chases the actual things. Songdo was one of the shunned place in the Joseon Dynasty Period but Songdo is very meaningful of intelligent historical rehabilitation to explain the openness and diversity of the late Joseon Dynasty Period, and the study and literature of Han Jaeryeom are the products from a magnetic field, it has a meaning as post to investigate the Songdo intellectual people in the eighteenth century.
