국문 초록

현대미술에서 판화는 회화의 한 영역으로 부각되었다. 이는 판화를 통한 자기표현의 확대와 표현에 대한 의미를 보다 구체적으로 부여하게 된 것이라고 할 수 있다. 그러므로 판화교육은 현대판화에 대한 이해가 전제되어야 한다. 즉 판화는 무엇보다도 전통적인 이해를 통한 다변적인 활동을 시도할 수 있는 특징을 갖는다. 그러므로 ‘찍어 낸다’, ‘전사한다’ 등 판화의 전통적이며 기초적 개념이 학습자에 의하여 발견되고 해체 될 수 있는 기회가 부여되어야 한다. 왜냐하면 학습자는 전통적인 판화를 이해함을 물론, 학습자 스스로 자기 주도적 해석의 과정을 통해 보다 명료한 개념을 얻을 수 있기 때문이다. 그리고 판화와 삶을 자연스럽게 연결함에 있어서 현대판화는 다의적 해석을 필요로 한다. 그러므로 판화활동은 판화 세계에 열린 마음과 우호적인 관심을 가지고 해석학적인 접근이 필요하다. 왜냐하면 학습자 자신이 삶 속에서 판화를 향유하고 누림으로 피드백 할 수 있기 때문이다. 따라서 우리의 판화교육은 이러한 점을 고려할 때 이전의 양식적이며 기법적 습득에 우선하였던 판화교육에서 보다 해석적 이해가 가능한 판화교육으로 전환할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 판화교육에 대한 인식전환의 필요성으로 위와 같은 근거를 문헌을 통해 살펴보았으며, 이를 위해 해석학적 접근(가다머의 이해의 역사성을 중심으로)을 통한 방안을 제시하였다. 이 연구를 통해 전통적이며 기초적인 판화와 다양하고 다의적인 현대 판화를 이해하는 토대를 제공할 수 있을 것이라 전망한다.

영문 초록

In modern times, as perception of expression has enlarged, the print has been embossed as an arena of painting. This has happened as people wanted to express themselves more through the print and to seek the meaning of expression more concretely. So the education of print should also offer a chance of understanding the modern print. Most of all, the characteristics unique to the print is to be able to try various activities through traditional understanding. The education of print should give students a chance that the traditional and basic definition of print, “to imprint”, or “to transcribe”, can be discovered and dissolved by them. Students should be able to understand broadly the definition as well as the traditional print through a student's self-initiative interpretation. Modern print is already reflected on the life and needs multi-dimensional interpretation in connecting the print with the life naturally. That is, the print activity should approached with open mind and favorable interest. In the long run, that returns to the learner himself's understanding, so that the print can be enjoyed and reflected on the life. It is urgent to move from the preceding education of print that gives priority to style to one that helps learners' hermeneutical understanding. For that this study pointed out the necessity of converting perception of the education of print and presented a plan of hermeneutical approach(Gadamer's historical understanding oriented). In conclusion, this study might be a basis on which students and teachers understand the traditional print basically and properly as well as various and multi-dimensional print. As well as the expanded perception of modern print and their intimate understanding it through interpretation.
