유아교사 개인 변인에 따른 다문화수용성 및 다문화교수효능감, 다문화교수역량의 관계

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사 개인 변인에 따른 다문화수용성 및 다문화교수효능감, 다문화교수역량의 관계를 살펴보고, 영향을 미치는 변인을 확인하여 다문화교육을 실시하는 유아교사의 질적 제고를 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 유아교사 253명을 대상으로 다문화수용성, 다문화교수효능감, 다문화교수역량에 대한 설문을 실시하여 자료수집을 하였고, 자료분석을 위해 기술통계, t-test, scheffe 사후검증, 상관분석, 단계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 유아교사의 다문화수용성, 다문화교수효능감, 다문화교수역량은 유아교사의 개인 변인에 따라 차이가 나타났는데 경력이 많을수록, 학부 재학중 다문화교육을 수강한 경우, 다문화교육 연수 경험에 따라 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 다문화수용성과 다문화교수효능감, 다문화교수역량은 정적인 상관관계를 가지고 있었으며, 다문화수용성에 영향을 미치는 유아교사의 개인 변인은 연수경험, 경력, 다문화교육 수강 여부 순으로 나타났다. 또한 다문화교수효능감에 영향을 미치는 유아교사의 개인 변인은 다문화교육 수강여부, 연수경험 순으로 나타났고, 다문화교수역량에서는 연수경험, 다문화교육 수강 여부, 경력, 기관 순으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between multicultural acceptance, multicultural teaching efficacy, and multicultural teaching competency according to individual variables or early childhood teachers, and to provide basic data to improve the quality or early childhood teachers who provide multicultural education by identifying the influencing factors. The data were collected by conducting a survey on multicultural acceptance, multicultural teaching efficacy, and multicultural teaching competency of 253 early childhood teachers. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, scheffe post-test, correlation analysis, and stepwise multiple regression analysis were conducted. The results of the study demonstrated that the multicultural acceptance, multicultural teaching efficacy and multicultural teaching competency of early childhood teachers differed depending on the individual variables of the early childhood teachers. Although the level or receptivity, efficacy and competency varied depends on different variavles of trainers, the showe better level of performance for those who completed educational training in multiculturalism during their undergraduate program. Second, there was a positive correlation between multicultural acceptance, multicultural teaching efficacy and multicultural teaching competence. In addition, the individual variables of early childhood teachers that affect the effectiveness of multicultural teaching appeared in the order of attendance or multicultural education and training experience.
