국문 초록

본 연구는 아버지 놀이참여와 유아의 자기조절력, 유아 놀이성의 관계를 알아보고 아버지 놀이참여가 유아의 자기조절력에 미치는 영향에서 유아 놀이성의 매개효과에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 연구대상은 G지역과 J지역의 유아교육기관에 재원 중인 만 3~5세의 유아와 아버지이다. 수집된 설문자료는 Pearson의 적률 상관관계분석과 Baron & Kenny가 제시한 매개회귀분석 및 Sobel’s Test를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아버지 놀이참여와 유아 놀이성 및 유아의 자기조절력은 전체적으로 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아버지 놀이참여와 유아의 자기조절력 관계에서 유아 놀이성의 매개효과는 부분 매개 변수로서 유의한 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 아버지 놀이참여가 유아의 자기조절력 발달에 영향을 미치는데 있어서 유아 놀이성이 중요한 변인임을 확인하였으며 유아의 자기조절력을 위해 최근 강조되고 있는 아버지 놀이참여와 유아 놀이성이 중요한 매개체가 되어 유아의 전인적인 발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있는 점을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between father’s participation in play, young children's self-control ability, and young children's playfulness, and to investigate the mediating effect of young children's playfulness in the effect of father's play participation on young children's self-control ability. The subjects of this study are young children who are aged 3-5 years old and attending early childhood education institutions located in G city and J province and their fathers. The collected questionnaire data were subjected to moment correlation analysis by Pearson, mediated regression analysis by Baron & Kenny, and sobel's test. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that there was an overall positive correlation among father's participation in play, young children's playfulness, and young children's self-control ability. Second, in the relationship between father's participation in play and young children's self-control ability, the mediating effect of young children's playfulness was found to have a significant effect as a partial parameter. The results of this study confirmed that the young children's playfulness is an important variable in that father's participation in play affects the development of young children's self-control ability. This suggests that father's participation in play and young children's playfulness, which are recently emphasized for the self-control ability of young children, become important mediators and can have a positive effect on the holistic development of young children.
