국문 초록

이글은 등대문화유산의 유·무형적 가치 인식에 대한 연구를 통해 등대문화유산의 체계적인 보존·관리와 보호·활용 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 등대는 항로표지의 일종으로 야간에 등화로서 그리고 안개가 짙게 낀 날에는 소리 등을 통해서 항로의 위치와 정향을 알려주기 위한 등관(燈罐) 시설과 장비를 갖춘 탑 모양의 구조물을 말한다. 역사적으로 등대는 해양활동의 항행보조시설이자 항로의 위치와 방향을 알려주는 항로표지로서 기능을 수행하였으나 1990년대 중반 이후로 새로운 항로표지 체계가 도입되면서 등대문화유산은 이를 바라보는 사람들의 감성을 자극하는 해양생태자연경관과 함께 해양문화공간을 대표하는 해양문화유산으로 자리매김하였다. 등대문화유산은 해상교통의 안전과 선박 운항의 능률을 높이기 위한 항행보조시설로서 인류의 해양 활동과 함께 상징체계를 보여주는 유·무형의 해양문화유산이라고 할 수 있다. 이를 체계적으로 보존·관리하고 지속적으로 보호·활용할 수 있도록 하기 위해서는 등대문화유산 기반의 민관산학연단이 신협치를 통해 유비쿼터스 체제의 AI, IoT, XR 등의 ICT 기술 접목과 등대문화유산 데이터 댐구축, 관련 멀티미디어 콘텐츠 축적 등을 체계적으로 추진하여 관련 공동체의 지속가능한 참여와 창의적 수요를 창출할 수 있게 해야 한다.

영문 초록

This article intends to present a systematic preservation, management, safeguarding, and utilization plan of lighthouse cultural heritage through research on the tangible and intangible value recognition of lighthouse cultural heritage. A lighthouse is a type of aids to navigation by a light at night, and by sound on foggy days, it refers to a tower-shaped structure equipped with lighthouse facilities and equipment to inform the location and orientation of the route. Although historically, the lighthouse served as a navigation aid for maritime activities and a route sign indicating the location and direction of the route, with the introduction of a new aids to navigation system since the mid-1990s, the lighthouse cultural heritage has established itself as a marine cultural heritage representing the marine cultural space along with the marine ecological and natural scenery that stimulates the emotions of people watching it. The lighthouse cultural heritage is a navigation aid facility to enhance the safety of maritime transportation and the efficiency of ship operation, and can be said to be a tangible and intangible marine cultural heritage that shows the symbolic system along with human marine activities. In order to systematically preserve, manage, and continuously safeguarding and utilize the lighthouse cultural heritage, the private, government, industry, university, research institute, and related group based on the lighthouse cultural heritage have to create sustainable participation and creative demand from related communities through systematically promoting the integration of ICT technologies such as AI, IoT, and XR under the ubiquitous system, and accumulate related multimedia contents.
