국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 우리나라 중학생과 고등학생들을 대상으로 한 국어교과 개인적 흥미 척도를 개발하고 타당화하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구대상 및 방법: 연구대상은 중등학생 959명으로 중학생은 477명, 고등학생은 482명이다. 국어교과 개인적 흥미 척도 개발을 위해 관련 선행연구를 검토하였고, 이를 토대로 개인적 흥미의 하위요인을 인지적 호기심, 정서적 관심, 가치의 유용성 3요인으로 설정하여 25문항을 개발했다. 연구결과: 요인분석을 통해 도출된 23문항을 국어교과 개인적 흥미 최종문항으로 선정했다. 본 연구에서 개발된 척도와 변인들과의 관련성을 확인하기 위해 국어교과 개인적 흥미 간편척도, 성취목표지향성, 학업적 자기효능감, 국어교과 학업성취도와의 준거관련타당도를 검토한 결과, 변인들과 높은 정적 상관이 확인되었다. 중학생과 고등학생 집단간 동일성을 검증한 결과 두 집단 간 동일성이 확인되었고, 척도의 신뢰도(Cronbach α) 또한 높게 나타났다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구에서 개발하고 타당화한 국어교과 개인적 흥미 척도는 우리나라 중, 고등학생들의 국어교과에 대한 개인적 흥미를 측정하고 이를 높이는 데 의의가 있을 것으로 본다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study aims to develop and validate the Korean personal interest scale for secondary school students. Participant and Method: The subjects were 959 middle and high school students(477 middle and 482 high school students). Researchers conducted a literature review to develop the Korean personal interest scale. Based on this, 25 items were created by setting the sub-factors of personal interest as cognitive curiosity, emotional interest, and value usefulness. Results: The factor analysis proved that 23 items were adequate for the final items of the personal interest scale of Korean. The criterion-related validity analysis confirmed the relation among the personal interest scale of Korean, personal interest simple scale of Korean, achievement goal orientation, academic self-efficacy, and academic achievement. In the homogeneity analysis between middle and high school students, two groups had the same factor structures. Conclusion: From the findings of the current study, it is expected that the Korean personal interest scale developed by the study will measure and promote personal interest for the Korean of Secondary School Students.
