국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 중학교 1학년에서 고등학교 1학년까지의 4시점의 자아존중감과 진로성숙도에 초점을 두고 종단적이면서 상보적 관계를 규명하는데 목적을 두었다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 부산교육종단연구(BELS)의 1차년도부터 4차년도까지의 학생 데이터를 활용하여 자기회귀교차지연 모형(Autoregressive Cross Lagged Model)을 적용하였다. 연구결과: 도출된 연구결과 첫째, 학생들의 자아존중감은 정적인 종단적 자기회귀효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학생들의 진로성숙도는 정적인 종단적 자기회귀효과를 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 학생들의 자아존중감과 진로성숙도 간 종단상보적 인과관계(Reciprocal Causal Relationship)가 있는 것을 도출하였으며, 자아존중감과 진로성숙도는 서로 원인변인이자 결과변인으로 작용하였다. 논의 및 결론: 이러한 연구결과를 기반으로 자아존중감과 진로성숙도 간 종단상보적 관계에 대한 정책적 시사점을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: This study examine the longitudinal relationship between self-esteem and career maturity over four time points. Method: To this end, the Autoregressive Cross Lagged Model was applied using student data from the 1st to 4th year of the Busan Education Longitudinal Study(BELS). Results: First, it was found that students self-esteem had a static longitudinal self-regression effect. Second, the students career maturity had a static longitudinal autoregressive effect. Third, it was derived that there was a reciprocal causal relationship between students self-esteem and career maturity. Also they acted as both causal and outcome variables. Conclusion: Based on these research results, political implications on the longitudinal complementary relationship between self-esteem and career maturity were suggested.
