국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 보육교사가 지각한 대인 관련 직무스트레스와 동료교사의 사회적 지지가 교육공동체 인식에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것이었다. 연구대상은 A시와 B도에 근무하는 보육교사 283명으로 그들에게 자기보고식 설문을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보육교사의 유아, 동료 및 원장, 부모와 관련한 직무스트레스는 교육공동체 인식 총점, 하위변인인 동반자 의식 및 핵심가치 공유와 부적 상관이 있었다. 그리고 동료로 부터의 사회적 지지는 교육공동체 인식과 정적 상관이 있었다. 둘째, 보육교사의 대인관련 직무스트레스와 동료로부터의 사회적 지지는 교육공동체 인식에 유의한 영향력이 있었다. 그 중 보육교사의 동료 및 원장 관련 직무스트레스는 교육공동체 인식 전체와 하위요인에 가장 큰 영향력을 가졌다. 결과에 근거하여 유아교육공동체 인식 향상을 위한 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research was to determine how child care teachers interpersonal job stress and social support from peers influenced their awareness of the educational community. Data was collected through a self-evaluative survey of 283 day care teachers from A metropolitan city and B province. The results are as follows. First, job stress related to children, peer teachers, directors, and parents had negative correlations with the total score of awareness of educational community, consciousness of peers, and core value sharing. Further, social support from peer teachers was positively correlated with awareness of the educational community. Second, child care teachers interpersonal job stress and social support from peers had significant influence on their awareness of the educational community. Job stress related to peers and directors of child care centers was the most influential factor in both the overall and sub-factors of the awareness of the educational community variable. Implications for improving day care teachers’ awareness of the educational community and future directions for study were discussed.
