어머니의 정서표현 양가성과 자녀와의 상호작용 간의 관계에서 어머니-교사 협력의 매개효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 어머니의 정서표현 양가성과 어머니-유아 상호작용 간의 관계에서 어머니-교사협력의 매개효과를 알아보는데 있다. 이를 위해 C시의 유치원과 어린이집에 재원하고 있는 만 3세~만 5세유아의 어머니를 대상으로 하여 2018년 1월 19일부터 2018년 1월 31일까지 설문지를 배부, 수거하여 최종312부를 자료로 활용하였다. 본 연구에서 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 어머니의 정서표현 양가성, 어머니-교사 협력 및 어머니-유아 상호작용 간 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 어머니의 정서표현 양가성은 어머니-교사 협력 및 어머니-유아 상호작용과부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 어머니-교사 협력은 어머니-유아 상호작용과 정적인 상관이 있는것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니-유아 상호작용에 미치는 영향력을 살펴본 결과 어머니의 정서표현 양가성이어머니-교사 협력보다 영향력이 더 높게 나타났고, 설명력은 20%였다. 즉, 어머니의 정서표현 양가성이높을수록 어머니-유아 상호작용은 낮아짐을 의미하며, 어머니-교사 협력이 높을수록 어머니-유아 상호작용은높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 어머니-교사 협력은 어머니의 정서표현 양가성과 어머니-유아 상호작용과의관계를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 어머니-유아 상호작용을 증진시키기 위해서 유아교육공동체 의식 형성 및 공동양육자로서 교사와의 협력을 통해 어머니에 대한 개인적, 정서적 지원이 제공되어야함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify the mediating effects of parent-teacher cooperation in the relationship between mother s emotional expression ambivalence and mother-child interaction. In this study, 312 mothers of children aged 3-5 in C City were surveyed from January 19-31, 2018. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0. The results of this study are as follows. First, there was a positive correlation between parent-teacher cooperation and mother-child interactions. The ambivalence in mother s emotional expression was found to have a negative correlation with mother-teacher cooperation and mother-infant interaction, Second, ambivalence in a mother’s emotional expression had greater impact on mother-child interactions than on mother-teacher cooperation. Parent-teacher cooperation was found to mediate the relationship between mother s emotional expression ambivalence and mother-child interaction. It was discussed that legitimate action is required to provide personal and emotional support for mothers, such as developing mediation programs related to emotion. The results also imply a need for father’s participation in household chores and child rearing since it enhances the ambivalence in a mother’s emotional expression.
