협력적 컨설팅을 통한 초록 유치원 교사의 교육과정 실행 변화 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 컨설턴트와 유치원 원장 및 원감이 함께 협력하여 참여하는 협력적 컨설팅 모형을 통해교사의 교육과정 실행과정이 어떻게 변화하는지를 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2017년부터 2019년까지3년동안 초록유치원에서 협력적 컨설팅을 실시하였고, 이 기간동안 지속적으로 컨설팅에 참여한 김교사와박교사의 교육과정 실행의 변화를 알아보기 위해 반구조화된 면담을 실시하여 수집된 자료들은 귀납적 범주화를 통해 의미들을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 김교사는 협력적 컨설팅을 통해 컨설팅 이전 구축했던 자신의교육과정 실행 틀을 재구성하고, 유아 놀이의 힘을 재발견하면서 교육과정 실행을 변화시켜 나갔다. 또한박교사는 유아의 관심에 따라 주제를 선정하여 경직된 단계에 따라 운영하였던 주제 전개과정을 허물면서교육과정 실행을 변화시켰다. 이러한 결과를 교육과정 실행의 틀 깨기, 놀이의 힘 발견하기, 유아의 관심에따라 주제 선정하기, 경직된 주제 전개 과정 허물기 등으로 해석하였다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 교사들의교육과정 실행의 전문성을 함양할 수 있는 컨설팅 전략을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to explore the changes to early childhood teachers’ curriculum implementation through a cooperative consulting. The consulting was designed for teachers to cooperatively work with kindergarten director and assistant director. To this end, a cooperative consulting was carried out for three years in a Green kindergarten from 2017 to 2019. Throughout this period, data gained from semi-structured interviews with two teachers, who participated in the consulting, were analyzed to examine the changes to these teachers’ curriculum implementation. The results of the study showed that one teacher recomposed her previous curriculum implementation and rediscovered the power of children’s play. The other teacher modified her curriculum implementation by breaking down the previous version of theme development, which had been operated extremely strictly, choosing themes in accordance to children’s interests. These results were interpreted as “innovating the curriculum framework”, “discovering the power of play”, “selecting themes in accordance to children’s interests”, and “breaking down the previously rigid theme development process.” Results were discussed in terms of the significance of consulting strategies that can cultivate teachers’ professionalism in implementing early childhood curriculum.
