예비유아교사의 학교현장실습 저널에 나타난 학습정서 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 학습상황으로서 학교현장실습 이해를 위해 학교현장실습에서 학습정서 탐구를 목적으로수행되었다. 연구 목적에 따라 2016학년도와 2017학년도에 학교현장실습에 참여한 유아교육과 4학년 40명의 실습 저널을 분석하였다. 저널 분석은 학습정서 관련 연구에 근거하여 예비유아교사가 학교현장실습에서경험한 정서를 탐색하고 그 의미를 분석하였다. 연구의 결과, 예비유아교사들은 학교현장실습에서 즐거움, 안도감, 감사, 안정, 기쁨, 신기함의 긍정적 정서와 속상함, 미안함, 좌절, 분노, 불안, 당황, 어려움의 부정적정서를 경험한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이러한 정서 경험은 예비유아교사에게 적응, 보람과 기쁨, 깨달음, 갈등을 통한 배움 등의 의미가 있었다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 학교현장실습이 교원양성과정에서 교육현장에대한 이해와 교직적응을 위한 학습의 시간으로 활용되어야 할 것임을 중심으로 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to explore preservice early childhood teachers’ emotions in their journals during the teaching practicum with an understanding of the practicum as a learning situation. For this study, journals of 40 senior students of an early childhood education department in an university who took part in their teaching practicum in 2016 and 2017 were analyzed. Based on previous research studies on learning-related emotions, the pre-service teachers’ learning emotions from teaching practicum were examined and their meanings were analyzed. According to the analysis result, positive emotions experienced by the teachers included joy, relief, gratitude, calm, delight, and wonder. Their negative emotions included agitation, regret, frustration, anger, anxiety, embarrassment, and resignation. These emotional experiences provided the participants with many learning opportunities through their adaptation, feelings of achievement and joy, becoming more aware, and conflicts. The importance of understanding a teaching environment and using the time of teaching practice as a period of adjusting to the teaching profession were discussed.
