국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 고등학교 국어교과서의 내용을 분석하여 교과서를 통한 장애이해교육이 성공적으로 이루어질 수 있도록 국어교과가 나아갈 방향을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 2015 개정교육과정 고등학교 국어교과서 12종을 대상으로 장애 유형, 장애 관련 내용의 주제 분석, 장애인관 등으로 분석하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 장애 유형은 건강장애가 가장 높게 분석되었으며 자폐성장애, 학습장애는 분석되지 않았다. 둘째, 장애 관련 내용의 주제 분석에서는 개인 차이와 인권 존중의 내용이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 국어 교과서에서 개인의 차이를 인정하고 인권존중의 내용을 많이 다루고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 장애인관은Ⅰ차원 개인-의존적 모형이 가장 높게 분석되었다. Ⅰ차원은 장애를 개인의 문제로 보며 의료적 치료와 주변의 도움을 받는 의존적 이미지로 묘사한 사례가 다수 나타났다. 논의 및 결론: 향후 교육과정 개편 시 고등학교 국어교과서의 장애 관련 내용은 다양한 방법으로 장애 내용을 접할 수 있도록 제시되어야 하며, 장애에 대한 잘못된 편견을 갖지 않도록 국어교과서의 내용이 개선되어야 할 것이다. 또한 고등학교 국어교과서의 집필진 및 연구진들은 장애관련 내용을 선정하고 개선하는데 도움이 될 수 있도록 장애관련 연수 등을 필수적으로 받아야 할 것이다. 그리고 학교현장에서 국어교과서를 활용한 바람직한 장애이해 및 장애인식 개선을 위한 관련 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the contents of Korean language textbooks in high school and present the directions of Korean language textbooks so that education on understanding disabilities through textbooks can be successfully conducted. Method: 12 types of Korean language textbooks under the 2015 revised curriculum were analyzed for high schools as types of disabilities, subjects related to disabilities, and center for the disabled. Results: First, the type of disability was analyzed the highest level of health disability, and autism and learning disabilities were not analyzed. Second, The subjects of disability related contents were analyzed most frequently by personal differences and respect for human rights. It was found that Korean textbooks recognized individual differences and dealt with many contents of respect for human rights. Third, the perspective on individual with disabilities reflected the individual-dependent model of I- dimension. In the first dimension, there have been many cases in which a disability was considered as a personal problem and it was often described as a dependent image with medical treatment and help from people around them. Suggesition: When the curriculum is reorganized in the future, disability-related content of Korean language textbooks for high school students should be presented in various ways. Also, writers and researchers of high school Korean language textbooks need to receive disability-related training to help them select and improve disability-related information. And, related research should be conducted to improve the desirable understanding of disabilities and awareness of the disabled using Korean language textbooks at school sites.
