만 3세 유아의 참여권 증진을 위한 실행연구 : 이야기나누기를 중심으로

국문 초록

만 3세 유아의 참여권 증진을 위한 이야기나누기의 문제점을 반성적으로 성찰하고, 유아가 주도성을 가지고 참여하는 방법을 모색하고 실천하고자 한다. 그 과정에서의 경험을 통해 만 3세 유아의 이야기나누기에서 이루어지는 참여권 증진을 위한 실행 과정과 변화는 어떠한지 알아보고자 한다. 만 3세 유아 27명을 대상으로 약 24주간 동안 이야기나누기를 통해 실행연구를 하면서 관찰 자료(촬영 및 전사 자료), 보육계획안(보육일지), 연구자 기록자료(전사기록, 성찰일지)로 다각적 질적 자료를 수집하였다. 만 3세 유아의 참여권 존중을 위한 이야기나누기 실행과정을 수집된 자료를 살펴보면 교사가 유아의 자율성을 존중했을 때, 자신의 이야기를 활발하게 시작한다. 또한 다양한 형태의 이야기나누기가 언제 어디서든 시작될 수 있도록 환경을 조성하는 것이 중요하다. 더불어 유아들의 놀이 속으로 교사가 참여하여 일상에서 자연스럽게 이야기나누기가 이루어져야 한다. 이는 본 연구의 이야기나누기 활동에서 만 3세 유아들과 끊임없이 상호작용하는 상황을 분석하고 연구자가 성찰한 내용에 따른 것이다. 첫째, 유아가 자연스러운 상황에서 이야기 주제를 떠올릴 수 있도록 일상에 의미를 두는 것이 중요하다. 둘째, 교사가 의례히 해오던 활동에 의문을 제기하고, 하루 일과의 당위성을 다시 조명해보는 기회가 된다. 셋째, 유아의 이해와 느낌, 생각이 잘 드러나도록 허용하고 격려해주고 의사에 경청해주는 것이 중요하다. 끝으로, 교사가 주도하지만 동시에 친구들의 이야기를 들을 수 있는 시간이기도 하다. 이에 따른 본 연구의 기여도는 만 3세 유아의 참여권 증진을 위한 이야기나누기는 무엇인지 참여권 실천사례를 보여줌으로서 유아의 참여권 교육에 따른 정책적인 개선 방향을 제시한다는 것이다.

영문 초록

To explore the teachers' efforts and dilemma to find and practice ways for 3-year-old children to partic-ipate in story sharing with greater initiative. A multi-faceted qualitative data such as childcare plan, child-care diary, and company-wide records were collected while conducting a study of 27 children aged 3 years through story sharing for about 24 weeks. The results of the study extracted by examining the collected data on the process of implementing story sharing to respect the right to participation of 3-year-old children were divided into 'story sharing in various ways of participation' and 'new per-spectives on story sharing'. This is based on the researcher's reflection and analysis of the situation of constant interaction with 3-year-old children in the story sharing activity of this study. First, it was important to give meaning in daily life so that the children could think about the theme of the story in a natural situation. Second, it was an opportunity to question the activities that the teachers had been doing, and to shed light on the justification of the daily routine. Third, it was important to allow and encourage the children to understand, to feel, to think well, to listen to the doctors. Finally, it was also a time for the teacher to lead, but at the same time, to listen to the stories of friends.
