국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 교육과정 재구성의 핵심 요소를 탐색하고 특수교사의 교육과정 재구성에 대한 인식과 요구를 실증적으로 분석함으로써 향후 교육과정 재구성 역량 개발 및 교사교육 프로그램을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 연구방법: 교육과정 재구성에 대한 문헌연구, 전문가 검토, 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 6개 영역 31개 문항으로 구성된 설문지를 개발하였고, 특수교사 256명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 대응표본 t검증 및 R-IPA(Revised-IPA), IPA 매트릭스 방법으로 분석하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 교육과정 재구성의 6개 영역과 31개 세부 항목에 대한 중요도와 수행도 인식 차이는 통계적 유의성을 나타냈고, R-IPA분석 결과, 교육과정 재구성을 위한 전문성 영역과 평가 영역에 대한 요구가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 특수교사의 배경변인에 따른 요구는 변인에 따라 다소 차이를 보였으나 상대적 중요도에 비해 수행도가 낮아 개선을 위한 노력 및 지원이 우선적으로 요구되는 영역은 교육과정 이해, 교육과정 재구성의 설계, 교육과정 재구성의 평가, 교육과정 재구성의 전문성 항목이 혼재해 나타나는 경향을 보였다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구결과를 토대로 현재 시행 중인 특수교사의 교육과정 재구성 관련 교사교육 프로그램의 실효성 검토 및 교육과정 재구성을 위한 전문성 신장 방안을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide comprehensive data for teacher’s curriculum reconstruction capacity by exploring the key elements of curriculum reconstruction and to analyze the recognition and needs of special teachers for curriculum reconstruction. Method: A questionnaire consisted of 31 questions in 6 areas. The questionnaire was developed via literature research and exploratory factor analysis on curriculum reconstruction. The survey was conducted on 256 special education teachers. The collected data were analyzed by paired t-test, R-IPA, and IPA matrix. Results: First, the difference between the importance and performance awareness was identified for the six areas of curriculum reconstruction. 31 detailed items showed statistically significant differences between the importance and performance awareness. The R-IPA analysis represented high needs for the area of expertise and evaluation for curriculum reconstruction. Second, several areas to be improved were identified: understanding the curriculum, designing the curriculum reconstruction, and the curriculum reconstruction evaluation. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, we suggested the future directions to increase teacher’s expertise and analyzed the effectiveness of the current professional development programs related to the curriculum reconstruction.
